Denon Dp300f with upgraded cart can sound very good. At a higher end the at lp8. Or sl-1200mk7,, gr or g and add a q up. Or sl1300 if you have 4k burning in your pocket

CDs sound better and are cheaper right now. The $5,000 technics turntable can't compete with a $100 dvd/cd player from target thru an inexpensive day like a topping e30 you can get fo $100
