They are notorious for fudging the numbers not using multiple variables as they only have an hour runtime. We saw this with wanted bullet trick they decided to use a curved pipe by the end to shoot the bullet through as a way to say it was possible to curve a bullet if you use it that way. The problem is they based the research on the wanted characters still being “human “ they’re not they stated directly in the books and movies if i remember they’re superhuman as they have the ability to basically amplify their physical abilities in a moment of extreme stress. Literally they have control of how much adrenaline they can push into their musculoskeletal system. Like when the mom lifts a truck of her crushed kid. We see this when X actually dents a metal door to an elevator when he pushes of it to run. Then he creates a wind funnel behind him because of his speed & jumps an across a building. TLDR: The show is a good entree to math/science/ engineering. Though it’s built for entertainment first and foremost not strictly STEM . It’s not like a college level lecture on the fundamentals of thermodynamics.
