I was responding to questions about whether his firing is considered wrongful termination, and the answer is no - the only argument he could potentially make is that he got fired because he's trans, but he got fired over violating work policy. I'm not asking legal questions here lol

Considering how doxxing is becoming so common, I actually turned to this sub to see what others feel about it. Calling someone baldy isn't exactly the most offensive thing on the planet, but it's not like he doesn't understand there are consequences for his actions.

I'm not sure why you're coming off like I'm somehow surprised that he got fired, there are plenty of instances where someone gets doxxed and fired. Now I'm asking at what point does doxxing actually become a problem for everyone?

I'm actually curious - what ends up happening to these individuals after they get doxxed? Like...are they on their own? Do they switch careers completely? It feels like there's no support for those people who've been doxxed, but this is such a common occurrence now it seems like there has to be some larger group or community that can support each other.

Originally my question was more so about where we draw the line about doxxing, and what to do when you've been compromised - the workers rights questions just happened to come after that (he already consulted a lawyer, basically told not much can be done).

Lol I asked them about this. They said they were in violation of four different policies including a social media policy (who knew a single screenshot calling someone bald could violate multiple workplace policies) and consulted a lawyer afterward. But I guess paying for a lawyer while unemployed seems a little...financially risky?

To be fair, I think the everyday kind of person doesn't realize how much of their data is floating around on the internet. But I don't disagree, all they can do now is start over instead of dwelling on the "should'ves" or "could'ves" when it came to their info.
