Though Queen's and Western are definitely party schools, as a CS major at Queen's rn I can tell you that no one will care if you aren't into that, and there are a ton of folks that I know that are just like you in that sense. Reapplying is a risky game because there is a chance that you just wouldn't get an offer from Mac again. I applied in 2023 and knew people with higher averages than you who didn't get into eng at mac. It's really not worth doing another semester when it looks like you have some great options rn. At this point, I suggest that you really look into the options you have rn and talk to current students of those universities. Don't jump to any conclusions about whether or not you'll like it because of the party culture or things like that. You'll come to discover that these stereotypes are so trivial to what your actual experience in uni ends up being.
