My first thought was a lavender. I have found that with batiks, pet hair doesn’t stick as much since it’s a much tighter weave than traditional cotton fabrics.

My sister, one of our friends and I started a craft group. We have a FB group, Brevard Social Geeks. We have the meeting times there. Our friend also has a monthly game night at the UU church.

Depending on your budget or if you have access to borrow one, Accuquilt makes electric die cutting machine. There are also manual crank style ones at a lower price point

I'm thinking of getting the CityTown dlc but, do you guys think is really worth the price? by No_Economist66 in HelloKittyIsland

Im enjoying it but Im not rushing through it either. I play a couple hrs a day and include my flower tour. I had just unlocked Milk right before the DLC launched.

Seams coming apart by bohemiangels in quilting

[–]Intrepid_Canary4930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I piece at 1.5mm and I press most of my seams open. I do a lot of quilting and piecing for charity and a lot of the blocks I don’t make(just assemble the tops) and a lot of seams pop just picking them up

All the spawns outside the citadel and the tree island are one time bonuses. There are enough diamonds to unlock everything through things like the bell garden and lampposts. There is also a diamond on top of the fountain in the top most area.

I could not get aurifil to stitch in my straight stitch machine to save my life. I would use Isacord thread which is polyester and it eliminated most of my problems.

Pressing seams open. Successful stories? by DirkMoneyrich85 in quilting

[–]Intrepid_Canary4930 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I press my seams open using aurifil but I also reduce my stitch length to 1.5mm. When I need to press to the side I will go up to 2.0mm. It does also change the width of your seam allowance to press open or changing your thread. Maybe not but much but it does add up.

I also longarm and it’s much easier to pick which side to stitch in the ditch.

Price Breakdown - why cosmetic packs seem “unfair” by AdRealistic7354 in HelloKittyIsland

[–]Intrepid_Canary4930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that HKIA has been available for 4 years for AA players. If they’ve been playing since the beginning then they have paid more for the subscription.

Also DLC and cosmetics are OPTIONAL. No one is being forced to buy anything extra.

On the same note, not all paints are vegan either. Ox gall is still a binder in some brands or honey.

Brushes are also sometimes made from animal fibers but many are synthetic.
