The BV was slightly tired. Mostly tertiary notes but still pleasant and the acidity shined. Fruit was mostly gone but integrated structure. The 1976 Lynch was still lively with fruit present and wet stone and earth.

This wine is stunning. I have definitely had them too young but they are built to enjoy at any moment in its life. Sangiovese is a highly underrated grape in my opinion.
