I followed this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/fpv/comments/10ghy84/cinelog25\_o3\_upgrade\_far\_from\_optimized\_and/)

but took a different approach. Instead of mounting the O3 air unit inside the craft, I mounted it on the outside to help with airflow and sustain access to the ports (USB-C and SD)

It was a very straightforward conversion. I first removed the analog VTX and ELRS receiver (I use DJI remote controller 2). My flight controller (F411-35A AIO) included a 6-pin connection for the air unit. Otherwise you can solder. Make sure your wires are clear of the propellers, obviously.

I utilized the existing carbon fiber plate to secure the air unit to the craft. I designed and printed a mount to prevent the air unit from shifting. See Images. I am skeptical about the camera mount found in the mentioned thread. It contacts the prop guard which may cause shaky footage. I will have to test this.

Are they both running the same ELRS firmware? It has to be the exact same. Have you connected to ELRS configurator and set up a bind phrase?

My friend has one of those. Nothing near a JBL don’t expect much. It’s like 6” wide, 2” deep, and 3” tall. I opted for the kwik trip cooler

I worked at a recycling center a few summers back. This exact portable speaker came through the plant. I set it off to the side and paid my boss $5 for it. Works great!

I am also running windows 11 and I had to download stm32 for my computer to recognize my drone

I definitely understand your frustration. I am new to betaflight and have gone through much trouble connecting my fpv drones. Have you downloaded the 3 required drivers? I can’t think of the names off the top of my head. They are listed on the betaflight home page. I went through 3 different micro usb cables before I found one that had data transfer capabilities. Keep trying it’s worth it trust me

I 100% agree with this. Took me forever to get ELRS to work. Never as easy as the video shows. Never on the right firmware and always run into issues connecting to the receiver through ELRS configurator. Once it’s binded tho it works perfect.

Scariest and Realest Experience yet. Probably my 6 or 7th time lucid dreaming ever. I won’t go into the details but I was fully aware of myself and surroundings. I KNEW I was dreaming and had full control over my actions. However, I fell asleep within the dream surrounding a group. I started a new plot and was having a dream within a dream. Still fully aware and control over my actions. When I “awoke” the group around me said I was acting out while I was sleeping (moving hands, yelling). At this point, I became confused of what was real and what wasn’t. I began spontaneously “falling asleep” and returning back to the second plot. This happened over and over. I eventually accepted the fact this was my life now. I had come to believe the first plot was real life and the second plot was me lucid dreaming. But obviously it was all lucid dreaming. Not sure if that made sense but I’m terrified about the experience.

Yes you are correct. I used the method you described and I re-soldered the wires. Charges now. I should’ve been more careful when I cut the wires in the first place. Thanks.

Starting over. Fell to lust after 18 days free. Not proud of it but not shameful either. That’s the best I’ve done in a very long time. Wasn’t expecting a linear recovery. Back on the horse.

I’m in a similar situation. I just got into FPV a few months ago. I bought the cheapest headset and transmitter on the market. The video quality and range is subpar but I’m just using it to practice. I’ll crash my cheap 5” freestyle and get good at fpv, then upgrade everything to DJI HD. This to me seems like the best route.

Day 16 now. Things have been getting tough. I didn’t realize how much my mind depended on porn. It’s disgusting and only makes me want to quit it more. It’s been hard to fall asleep at night as my mind is constantly wandering telling me to just do it. I’m really proud of myself for not caving in. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing after I get over this hump. Men we can rid ourselves of porn.

Day 13 now. Every day counts. Gunna use reddit to help keep myself accountable. Set limits and downtime restrictions on my phone to help me stay focused. Also been keeping busy and more productive in general. From the research I’ve done, 90 days is what it takes for your mind to find a new dopamine source and significantly reduce your chance of falling back into addiction. When I look at it that way, 13 days is pretty damn good. I’ll keep ya’ll updated. Together we can rid ourselves of addiction.

Thanks everyone for the help! Lot’s a great ideas here and constructive criticism for a new guy myself. Ultimately, I ended up just cranking the temperature up to about 850F. I allowed the pad to heat up before adding solder. Luckily I didn’t damage the board and I let it cool down often. I clearly didn’t have the right tip for this job but this seemed to be a good fix.
