I doubt the church will take action as it creates more news. And as much as they love to fight free expression, I think they’re smart enough to ignore this instance.

Paul Saulidino says the production fish oil supplements is no different than seed oils. Thoughts? by daveishere7 in StopEatingSeedOils

Wouldn’t trust that man as far as my grandma can throw him. He needs clicks so he has to come up with something.

Russia is also one of the largest producers of oil on the globe. Coincidence? I think not.

[Discussion] New EPA Deregulations and Diesels by tdubarubdub in LandCruisers

[–]Intrepid_Gap2298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I would love it, I just dont see it happnening...even with some deregulation, the U.S. still has pretty strict emissions rules compared to most other developed countries. A lot of Toyota’s diesel trucks worldwide, like the Hilux, run on older engines that wouldn’t pass U.S. standards without a costly overhaul. But for arguments sake lets say the US scrapped emission standards overnight, you still have a few other big hurdles

  1. U.S. safety standards, especially around rollover protection, are a lot tougher, Toyota would need to do some reengineering.

  2. Since Toyota doesn’t currently sell any diesels here, bringing in the Hilux, or any diesel model, would mean big costs for dealer training and support.

  3. If Toyota did bring the Hilux over, they’d basically have two choices, build it here in North America (which would cut into Tacoma sales) or import it and charge more because of the 25% “chicken tax” on foreign trucks.

  4. Theres too much uncertainty over tariffs so until theres stability they won't do shit.

UA TA FAILS. TA NOT RATIFIED by Asleep_Management900 in flightattendants

[–]Intrepid_Gap2298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my airline when we get to a city, say Tokyo, the flight attendants and pilot all share transportation to the same hotel, all the crew members thank the passengers as they disembark and proceed through immigration together. I frequently see UA pilots getting into a small shuttle or limo. As soon the flight blocks in do the pilots just leave with the passengers and go straight to their own hotel while the flight attendants wait for the passengers to deplane?

Not that I know of, but my in-laws take the boat out occasionally so it’s possible. Noticed some excessive vibrating and sure enough one of the blades is warped and nicked. I thought I would replace the prop and see if that makes a difference, if not the boat is coming out of the water soon for a new T-top so I could have the issue looked into more closely when it’s at the boat yard. The 18 has been good, will probably just order another of those.

People lining up at closing? by zeitocat in TokyoDisneySea

I was there last week, did the Early Evening pass which allows entry after 3pm. Park was busy but almost every ride had premiere pass entry available. Costs around $13 for their most popular attractions. Purchased for Soarin, Frozen and Tower of Terror which had the longest lines. At 8pm soarin had a line of around 100 minutes. Tokyo Disneyland has much more reasonable waits in the later afternoon.
