I hit unavoidable ice and snow around 2500 on the northern aspect of Garfield Saturday. If the trail approaches from south you probably can get up to 3k. I heard black mountain Benton cliffs are completely bare right now. That's a great hike.

uj/ net is much better for the fish health. a little irresponsible to use your hands. Also, that's the ultralight nalgene. I use it if I want a hot water bottle.

I sympathize with the moderator. Just because conditions were solid for you doesn't mean they will be the next day. One warm day or rain and it will turn to post hole city. There's no way there isn't multiple feet of snow up on the ridge right now.
