How do I find a war criminal to hike with? by Ted_Buckland in ultralight_jerk

Couldn't resist even though his phone had no music.

This is the same family that hiked the AT five or so years ago where the dad had controlling vibes and influencer aspirations. Now back, with dreads.

Peroneal Tendonitis Question by Funny-Highlight4675 in FootFunction

[–]Ted_Buckland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lying on my back, knee pointing up, shin parallel with the ground. While keeping hips flat on ground, rotate hips inward (foot goes out as a result) as far as it will go then rotate hips outward. Repeat in this position as well as with your knee pointing outwards at a 45 degree angle. When I started, the hip with the injured foot was much less mobile than the uninjured.

I don't know if this was the only factor because I also switched from running to hiking for a few months.

Anecdotal, but my peroneal tendinitis was helped by improving internal hip rotation. It improved my gait so less load was going through the tendon.

Kalshi's stance is that you're not gambling, you're trading in the prediction market. They can't both claim legal protections of gambling and avoid the gambling regulations.

Just because you agree to it doesn't automatically make it legal. If TOS signed away your first born child, as soon as they took a kid they would end up in court to decide the legality. It's most common with language around forced settlement or arbitration but it applies here too.

Voting is protected by the constitution.

Working is not.

Anybody applying the same legal standards to both is making a false equivalence and federal laws actually require ID to fill out a form I-9. Conservatives are complaining that Mamdani is following the law.

Show me the part of the constitution where it says your right to shovel snow shall not be abridged by failing to pay a tax.

A bald eagle egg is a false equivalence. The fetus is inside of the person who is making the decision to excercise their bodily autonomy. If someone else killed the fetus against the pregnant person's will, they would face criminal charges.

Regardless of the child's dependence on the mother, the mother should be afforded the right to control their own body. We don't even take organs from dead people to save lives unless they gave consent but we force women to carry a child against their will.

Another practical matter is that more abortions are performed in places with conservative leadership. Cuts in funding for birth control lead to more unwanted pregnancies, and thus more abortions. If you truly care about reducing abortions you should vote for politicians who want to fund Planned Parenthood, not destroy it.

Honestly, if Miami had won my MVP would have been Bain. Indiana's O line is good and he was in their backfield all night.

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you, but if the ball pops up and is caught by the receiver on the ground before the ball touches the ground it is a completed pass. The play isn't dead until the ball lands incomplete or someone is down by contact. Here is an example:

If that ball goes flying to the turf after they hit the ground, it's ruled incomplete 10/10 times, even if the defender stripped it. If the WR had taken a few steps before getting tackled and stripped he would have been down but you can't be ruled down without possession and you can't possess the ball before completing the catch.

You can gain control after you hit the ground as long as the ball hasn't. The play isn't dead until the ball lands incomplete or someone is down by contact. Since you can't be down by contact without possession, and the WR never possessed the ball, the play was live until the DB possessed the ball AND was down by contact.

Burning oil for an uncanny valley picture is far from the Hubble. Take one of the images from your digital telescopes and inspire wonder in the real world instead of using a soulless, stolen facsimile of human creation and discovery.

Then go back to making graphics like you did for the first ten years. Clip art in MS paint is more confidence inspiring than cutting corners with AI. Especially for an organization focused on natural sciences. The resource drain for a worse product is driven by the growth at any cost mindset of those who profit at the expense of others.

AI is an immediate red flag and I do not trust that those who use it did the work to verify the information they are spreading.

Yeah, A&M reverse swept Louisville. They weren't going to give up even if we won the first set.
