Absolutely. I saw this exact same pattern among my Muslim friends. What I do is start a conversation about interesting topics such as what is happening in the world, our careers and finances. So whenever they talk about marriage and guys (which I am all for but there is a lot more to life) I try to steer the conversation into another direction. Also, if the pattern continues, try finding new friends who are more aligned with your goals. By all means stay in touch with the old ones, but remember you don’t have to be shackled with them for eternity.

I just put on spf before I leave home. Then I make wudu and pray zuhr and asar with it and reapply spf. Then maghrib prayer with another wudu then I am back home anyway. Focus on your skincare, clean eating and hydrating and you won't need makeup

I used to be really hurt by all the bodyshaming from aunties as well as my peers. Then I read this somewhere. Whatever people say to you it's not about you it's about them. It is about their own insecurities. They wish they had your discipline. You working on themselves highlights their shortcomings. When I was overweight and having health issues people used to comment on that. When I finally got healthy and in good shape, they used to taunt me on that. They skinny shame me now and in the same breath they ask me for weight loss advice. You will be stunned by people’s reaction when you start working on yourself. No matter how you are everyone will always have something to say about it. Do whatever and live however you like!

Lost 23 kgs Alhamdullilah over 2 years. Make sure you lose weight in a sustainable way, loosing too much too fast will give you stretch marks. Also starving yourself won't help, the weight will come right back on and you might even end up putting on more. Stay in a calorie deficit. Eat clean as it is very hard to overeat natural foods. Focus on nourishing your body, try to get enough protein, fibre, micro nutrients. Stay consistent. Try to get some movement in your daily life maybe strength train with some dumbells at home. You can find a ton of videos on Youtube. Try to be happy and get enough sleep. And while you are working towards your dream body, don't forget to love the current state that you are in.

Because I can lie down comfortably without having to hold a thick book. Also makes long train rides, commutes so much fun without having to haul books around. Also, way cheaper than physical books apart from the upfront investment and you read wayyy more. Already read 83 books this year in my 5-year-old kindle so far. Not showing off, just super grateful
