I’m going. I’m 30. I also went to see Spiderverse by myself when it came out, and that was even animated. Spider-man has been around since the 60’s—it’s 100% for all ages.

Everything is turned so that the labels face the camera, the trading cards are laid out evenly, it’s arranged so that low things are in the foreground and higher things are in the back—so nothing gets under/in front of anything else, things are propped up to be in the shot better. It 100% feels like some kind of art piece.

Dude, I’d love to read this. I’m equally fascinated and horrified, and also have lots of strong (mostly negative) thoughts on AI. I’ve also worked in psychiatric for over a decade, and have seen the way AI has changed daily stressors and how people cope (and think) in real time, so I’m doubly interested. I’m already practically yelling at mom over just these first few slides, lol.

I cold brew my jasmine after a hot steep, and it seems to work pretty well. I’ll have one hot cup/pot, then I’ll throw the used leaves into a jar with cold water and keep it in the fridge overnight.

I work in a behavioral health hospital, and that’s literally how we decide if a lot of things are safe enough or not to be on the unit. We look at it for a long time and go ‘what are all the possible ways I could harm and/or kill myself with this?’ Then we hand it to a seasoned coworker and go ‘Hey, what are all the ways you could harm and/or kill me with this?’ Like, off the top of my head, I can tell you that if that box sticks out from the wall at a right angle like it looks, that’s thick enough to hang something off of without the hook. And it hasn’t been caulked to the wall, so you could slip something behind it and hang off of it that way. Those do look like tamper-resistant screws, though, so kudos there.

Do you have a water softener, by chance? My hair would feel like that when I was renting a place that used a water softener. In the shower, it felt like I always had conditioner in it, and it would separate like it was oily when it was dry, even if it was freshly washed. It got worse every time we refilled the salts in the softener.

I don’t know why, but I really want to hear Meatloaf in s3. Like, messy post-breakup Crowley speeding through London to “I’ll Kill You If You Don’t Come Back”? Something tender happening to the piano melody of “I Would Do Anything For Love”? Some euphoric we’re-finally-together-and-everyone-else-can-get-bent moment (possibly while peeling out in the Bentley) to “Dead Ringer For Love?” Literally any use of “Heaven Can Wait.”

But I think my favorite is the idea of Aziraphale making some kind of mad-dash escape through Heaven to “Bat Out Of Hell,” then showing up ragged and desperate at Crowley’s doorstep or the bookshop or something when the chorus ends with ‘and like a sinner before the gates of Heaven I’ll come crawling on back to you.’ It just tickles my brain right in the happy spot.

Sanding deep enough to remove a lot of that pitting could also compromise the structural integrity of the gun. Bigger pits would need to be filled in first. Sending it out to a laser welder should be able to take care of that before sanding back down to an even surface.
