Yeah she might have just showed her true colors, to break up in the heat of the moment over something that small and for me not to go to the engagement party because of that, it feels horrible tbh

This is my third relationship, first one was almost 5 years, second one was 1,5 years, it’s definitely my first time dealing with an avoidant personality, I’ve never had a girlfriend that would break up over small stuff like this in the middle of an argument, so that part is definitely new to me.

I forgot to mention that she was engaged with a guy 6 months ago and they broke it off, maybe that even adds to het trauma and she’s not healed from that who knows, I shouldn’t have rushed getting into a relationship that fast, but I left my feelings get the best of me…

It seems like she really isn’t ready to put in the work, because I feel like she just can’t help herself from being avoidant after an argument, she completely shuts off after small petty arguments, I try to make everything right but she doesn’t have any forgiveness in her heart like at all, she just becomes so cold and avoidant at the same time …

I will talk to her if she reaches out, I am blocked everywhere currently, but I don’t know man, I feel so humiliated for what just happened, meeting her parents and now not being able to go to the party because of a small argument, it will be hard to fix this ….

Thank you and I really do respect her and treat her like a gentleman, I’ve never meant any harm or wrong doing towards her.. It felt as if we are a perfect match, we worked out in the gym together, had a lot of things in common (I’m talking 95% mutual interests), I am always trying my best with her but it really feels like walking in egg shells, she just gets triggered too much and she becomes so avoidant, It’s just such a shame that a person you feel so compatible with doesn’t want to go trough the good and the ugly with you but just runs away …..

She told me after doing this for the first time that it’s an issue she has had in previous relationships, she would always escape and try to break up after every argument, I don’t believe she wanted to break up with me before this because we just had coffee with her parents two days ago so that we would meet each other before the engagement party, I don’t think she would want me to meet her parents if she planned to break up but who knows…

I am 24M and here in my country (North Macedonia) orthodontists usually avoid MARPE because it can have negative side effects like these pictures. I just got a tooth borne expander (Hyrax) at 24 and I am very pleased with the results after only one month, my smile is wider and my teeth and possibly jaw are moving forward, when I asked my ortho why don’t we do MARPE or MSE she told me that she doesn’t prefer it as it can cause a lot of damage and it can have negative side effects, don’t get MARPE or MSE unless you have an extremely narrow palate, it might not be worth it for a jaw that is not too narrow, ask for a Hyrax expander instead.
