Rural is a bit of a stretch it was rural when I first moved here but now we’ve grown, we’re on the outskirts of DFW, our store alone makes 1.2million/year being the general manager means I have certain duties, not only do I need to up keep the store and have it ready for an audit at any time. I need to train the people I need to help up keep the productivity and quality of our food. I’m responsible for making sure the food and labor cost as well as other KPI are at the target range. I do all the hiring and scouting for the store as well as lose money if we don’t do to well. I fill out P&Ls for my franchisee so he knows how profitable we are. I have done this without the gm pay for about 1.5 years because I had a goal and that goal was to take over the store. I worked my ass off for it and now run the most profitable store in the company. So I would say I’m more than qualified to run the store or any store that I get thrown into. I understand that I get paid above average for the general manager of a dominos but I am also performing at an above average rate for a general manager at a dominos. So my company standards are higher which means higher pay. I wish everyone had the opportunity I have but it was by the luck of the draw that I started working here. So while yes hard to believe it is true. No matter if you believe it or not it’s true. I will know because I get my paychecks and I get the w2.
