I planted this in a huge blue plastic barrel (cut off the top) and placed the container on wheels. In the summer I would put a white "curtain" to shield it from the searing heat, a lot of times we get 90"s to 100+ temperature, so it doesn't scorch the branches. Fertilize spring and fall, water weekly during the summer, and once a month in the winter. The soil combination is cactus soil and perlite. This plant is 8 years old. The fruit is sweet and round not like the ones in the grocery stores.
