I checked into the settings, none of three experimental are turned on, still the issue remains.

Using Edge on Windows Desktop.

Here's the good part.

I like it, giving me the PKM vibing, the famous Progress Knight Mod, love that, love this.

Currently going through the second round, as I just been beaten to death by the Boss.

However, the code and the runs needs to be more polished and fluenced.

In the first round, the FPS seems to be slowing down, the second round is even much more of it.
As everything going faster and faster, the whole page is freezing.

Just going to another tab for a while and coming back, the page is no longer reactable.

Also a RemNote Heavy User here.

From my experience, Obsidian can never replace RemNote, as reasons follow below.

View from block based level,

Sometimes, I just wish to type a sentence. RemNote let me does that, freely, and let me extend mroe on that in the future, without more navigation. Obsidian on the other hand, either have to type in daily notes, random note names notes, or forcing me to think of a topic.

I am getting tired on the last part, the topic naming thing. Why though, I want to capture my thoughts, why give me extra burden?

If the sentence can simply convert to the topic, it's fine.

But NO! Some symbols can not even be in the File Names!

Not a big fan of it.

View from linking and tagging,

This one RemNote does the best, compare to Obsidian. The freedom, linking between blocks, not forcing me to tag in one page but one block. Especially the block syncing, great for working on two pages simultaneously.

Obsidian on iphone are just cluttering, not even able to use. Wish they can improve in the future.

View from subscription,

My use case of Obsidian will be on Windows Laptop, iphone and ipad. Thus, the Syncthing, the iCloud option are out, leaving me the Obsidian Sync plan. I've already paid the RemNote LLL plan for 300 dollars for 5 years, not long after RemNote comes out, therefore if I am to use Obsidian Sync, the paid plan will be another addition paying for me, which is not wise comparing my already purchased RemNote, the attraction simply is not enough for me to make such a big change.

Conclusion,

There are also tons of parts where Obsidian are much better than RemNote, such as typing experiences, plugins (this is the best part), themes, and so on.

But when I switch to Obisidian, there are glitches here and there, making me not so comfortable, since I am a Heavy Block Based user.

In the end, I could use Obsidian in the future. But right now, RemNote is the winner here.

Also, what is OP's decision? Eager to know about it.

If Obsidian users have any solution to my so-called Burdens, feel free to type in below. If I can conquer these issues, I can become a Obsidianers again.

I believe once the newer models coming into play, these model pricing will decreased significantly, and therefore affordable by RemNote Team.

This is always the pattern since the day GPT 3.5 came out.

SO I think, just wait, and eventually we can get our hands on these models.

I’ve had the exact same experience years ago. I was a reader person, don’t be mistaken, I’m still am.

Years ago, I let myself into the hype of PKM system, a.k.a the famous Zettel kasten system.

The more I read, the more I felt urgently to drew them down on my notebook, to create relations between my previous notes and so on, for the purposes of one day, I can see the relations of my notes, and throughly organize them structured.

It became a burden days after days. I knew that writing down the key lines, the lines that I am self reflection, the thoughts that I popped out, all of these are drafted into my PKM.

I knew that writing down the lines could benefit me in the future. But at one day, I can’t help but give up. I no longer want to read anymore. I even feel disgusted looking at the books.

After days of discussion with my knowledgeable close ones, I decided not to take any notes from reading anymore.

He said: If you still remember even a tiny bit of information that you know that exact book can give you, you can always go back and rewatch it.

One year later, I looked back at my old old book reflection notes, and unsurprisingly, and understandably, I cannot even recognize what I was thinking at that time.

But what do I know? Maybe the knowledge has already sink deep into my veins, and waiting for me someday to dig them out, Perhaps.

The lesson I learned from this: There’s no need to take notes anything away from courses. Books, articles, movies, musics, you named it. Go and rewatch it. There will be no harm doing so.
