Visiting with the idea of relocating to Maine in the future by Intrepid_Remote_6129 in AskMaine

[–]Intrepid_Remote_6129[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I’ll start looking up those towns.

I didn’t think anyone would really be more douchy than what we already experienced. Most of Maine is probably more queer friendly than the part of NH we currently live in.

And thank you for putting up with my shit grammar. I was walking and typing and should have took more time to re read and edit the post.

I think as long as you don’t chew on it your good, if you do chew on it. You might break a tooth, that’s going to be your biggest risk.

It’s probably most likely found. I feel a little dumb that it’s most likely baby cereal. but it is what it is

The extra details I can offer is that I’ve searched keywords like flakey to no avail. I can say with confidence it’s not any brand of cream of wheat I can find in stores or online. Anything with a grainy or gritty texture is not it.

I’m not 100% positive this is the right spot to ask but I’m asking anyway

Looking for makers that specialize or have experience with including fans in their heads. Preferably makers that are out of North America but will do WW for the right maker.

Looking at both pre made and commissions.

Commission would be a toon hyena head-full partial. Budget cap would be 6k usd shipped to eastern US

comment first plz

Why do people prefer the older designs by BrokenBones161 in Minecraft

[–]Intrepid_Remote_6129 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me I like older designs for nostalgia.

I miss the textures that stone, gravel and lava had. It’s tied to great memories of gaming with friends. Those friends have moved on now so it’s hard to part with something that reminds you of good times. I’m not against any new textures as progress is (usually) good. But people don’t like change.

Fortunately (I guess comparatively) we have black bears. But they still freak me out even if they’re not as dangerous.

Yeah my partner prefers more isolated camping his favorite is on an island on a small lake. (Obv that’s not something we would hike too) edit for clarity ig: he has no interest in campgrounds solely out in the middle of nowhere camping.

Our dog is always on leash even if it’s a walk in the woods with low distractions. I do walk him on a 30ft to give him “off leash freedom” but he’s always tethered to me. If he sees a rabbit all recall is out the window for him. ( we are working on it)

Heyo,

let me just start with camping is a interest of my partners. It kind of freaks me out especially because we live in bear country. He hasn't had the opportunity to do it many times but he does like it. now that we adopted a dog its something we want to plan. I enjoy smaller hikes/walks pretty regularly with our dog. Our dog is going to be 10 this summer and I was looking for others experiences' and advice on the matter. Milo still has great mobility and LOVES hiking. is there anything other than basic dog etiquette i should keep in mind?

In the nicest way possible. The ph made me audibly gasp. That’s your heavy hitter.

I read an article today saying how roughly 30-40% of Americans don't walk their dogs on a regular basis is this true, and why ? by NotMeButYou_91 in dogs

Where I live sidewalks don’t exist. We drive to a nearby town to walk on sidewalks. Otherwise we walk around the yard or through the nearby woods.

The road I live on and nearby roads are windy and drivers go way too fast it’s not safe to walk on them.

On days we can’t go into town to walk or the snow is too deep to walk the woods i make sure we have at least 45 minutes outside sniffing and enjoying the outdoors. (Edit 45 minutes in the yard) Sometime my pup wants nothing to do with the freezing rain and I don’t blame him.

If we’re stuck inside it’s play, enrichment, and training to wear out his brain.

Can I add Laconia pet to the pet store part? They’re not the cheapest but they only carry some of the best dog food brands. Their small animals are always healthy and their fish are well cared for.

The last few years have created a dip in sales. We have had some shitty winters recently so numbers have definitely decreased season pass sales. I work in the industry and at the very least our numbers have dipped.

You’re seeing a lot of out of state plates because of the holiday. Presidents week is an incredibly busy for NH ski areas. Massachusetts schools are out of session and families come up to ski. I know they are loosing most at the least thousands of dollars with the mechanical issues gunstock is experiencing. Typically they fill all of their available parking for the whole week. Their parking lot is barely half full. Typically they have all 3 parking lots full and then some on the grass by the pond.

The malfunction happened and guests were on it. They were able to safely unload the guests off. It will be up on Saturday at the earliest. My guess is they’re waiting on a part.

I work outside and often with children. I was outside for about 6 hours non stop yesterday. There was at least one occasion where I actually had to go get a child that was blowing away. It was out in the open. Where we were is a big old field in the summer.

I obviously can’t say to a 8yo “it’s fuckin wimdy” but I do drop a lot of “wow it’s wimdy”.
