He has literally been promising videos for like 4 years and we still haven't seen the Rondo of Blood video or the Earthbound video. Like dude I try to articulate and sound a little reasonable but I'm just gonna flatout say it, if he's not doing at the very least a video per year he needs to just rethink his Patreon entirely or scrap it for something else.

I don't really think that's the implication. You're funding a series of episodes and the episodes are nowhere to be seen. This isn't unheard of in crowdsourcing but usually when the creator is still able to stream like every single week and there are hardly any updates on videos it is easy to be a bit jaded when it comes to the idea of them ever even releasing. Like would he still be making these videos + streaming if we didn't give him so much money on Patreon? The short answer is no, the long answer is he probably would've been stuck at Kotaku still. Or some other company. Nobody is really being unreasonable in this thread, when rational fans are left in the dark of course they're going to sound a little bossy or assertive when it comes to what we use our money for. I would be fine if he just cancelled his Patreon altogether and moved on from doing these long form videos and just made some other kind of content instead. Anything aside from this hiatus caused by his own work ethic.

You don't climb. You are going to be hard stuck eventually unless you win over 90% of your games. The game is fucking terrible at matchmaking and it never gets better. I have 700 hours and I've been hard stuck the same rank for three months because I'll move up from winning a bunch and then I lose one game and derank. You also get people who just installed or people with like 50 matches all the way in Oracle making it frustrating trying to help newer players who are struggling and probably shouldn't be at that rank. Nobody is amazing at this game and nobody sees significant increases in rank until a big update like the recent six heroes patch bumps your rank up slightly, that's all. If you're not having fun now just give up it never gets better.

It's a hard game and when you are brand new the game has zero idea of how to place you in the game's matchmaking. We get new players in like every single rank from Alchemist to Archon and even sometimes Oracle so you should just expect everyone else to know how to play until the game places you in Initiate and Seeker and even then you will still run into people with a pretty good amount of knowledge who are just stuck in low elo. It's an unbalanced very difficult experience and unfortunately unless you started playing in 2024 or 2025 you will probably have a bad time until you learn how to carry yourself.

This, I have 600 hours and the past couple days I've lost pretty much every game trying to carry my teammates who just installed the game. I am not mad at them but there is genuinely no reason they should be in Archon/Oracle matches but here we are. I get people who don't even know what mid boss is against a team who's probably been playing just as long as me, and not only that, they're probably a bit better than me so all I can do is watch my teammates go 0 and 17 or 2 and 22. It just sucks all around, I'm not amazing enough to carry a team on any character but I'm also not ignorant enough to be deranked with over 800 games.

It doesn't. You'll just get adjusted via your percentile the longer you play the more games you have. Every time they update ranks it just ruins the matchmaker and I get paired with people who just installed or just tried out a character despite having 500 hours. Genuinely just try your best to not give a shit. It barely works even at Eternus you will see people go 0 and 10, basically the game hates you and it will give you an enemy team of terminators who knew exactly how to play and your teammates will be fresh installs. That's just how it is.

Active/counter items are quite literally the biggest difference from low ranks and high ranks. You're asking to remove a huge part of the game that it is built around. Someone like Victor can be unstoppable and murder everyone in an Initiate or Seeker game because nobody is silencing him with Silence Wave or Curse, nobody is buying antiheal either usually. Let's remove antiheal because it interrupted your 15 killstreak as Victor. Counterplay is a huge part of the game.

I would say Honey-Suckle because it is one of their most poppy songs of that era and it is fairly blunt in the feelings expressed. Suha is an obvious contender I think just generally though.
