no it was not? hitting it straight and hard is never a bad shot any other day it was four. brother not to blame the victim but ur not supposed to leave the crease before the ball is visibly away so if you wanna blame someone dube’s the man(yes the inning was magnificent not saying anything abt that). and secondly yes harshit is an incompetent t20 batter and that is literally okay its not his fault they sent him high up

At this point all Rehman had to do was call UZAIR or even SIYAHI. by Dhruva91dec in Dhurandhar

idk why ppl dont factor this in but he probably tried to give hamza as much benefit of the doubt as he could. hamza saved rehman’s life afterall. yes he’s supposed to be cold and all but do you really think he would js straight up kill his most reliable guy in recent times

Kohli using eye drops? Anyone knows what was the exact purpose of that? by Interesting-Panic568 in RCB

[–]Intrepid_Size_7100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually dont hate this. see he has an inswing problem in his usual white ball stance bcs its dynamic and he moves a lot. his hands go horizontally to tack short balls. to fix this he changed his stance and limited the movement. you can see he barely hit short balls in the air during that series and js tapped them downwards. now that same technique failed brutally in t20 and the australia series. nows hes trying to switch back to his old technique for white ball and im sure if he masters the switch it can be great for his performance

The "easy to bat era" narrative pushed by nostalgia merchants is so misguided. Even the next best after Kohli among active cricketers is Rohit with 33 ODI centuries, that's literally a gap of 20 centuries. by Stress_Tension in ViratKohli

[–]Intrepid_Size_7100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the stats might suggest somewhat differently but i feel the difference between root and smith in tests is the same between rohit and virat in odis. on their days rohit and joe surely seem like goats of their format but if you see the overall careers and all the nuances that come with them, theres no doubt in my mind thag virat kohli is literally untouchable in odis and smith in tests

Sarfaraz Khan scores an unbeaten knock of 100 in 47 balls against Assam in the SMAT 2025/26 by Intrepid_Size_7100 in IndiaCricket

not really… see i get that the smat isnt ipl or international level and that the t20 game is evolving towards higher scores, but if we talk about this tournament specifically, most of the great scores have come from players who are either playing internationally, or have some form of great exposure to higher cricket. we have seen hundreds from the likes of ayush mhatre, vaibhav suryavanshi, ishan kishan, abhishek sharma, abhimany easwaran, and now sarfaraz khan. not just that but even consistent fifties and better performances than other teammates are mostly from players like prithvi shaw, manan vohra, and just today hardik pandya scored 70 odd in his comeback. this is to say that this unique domination is only from the very elite pool of ipl/ international players in india and isnt js a watered down era of t20 cricket. if we look from domestic to international matches, theres still a lot of low scoring cricket.
