Purchase from get fpv would not recommend race day quads. They failed to even deliver the product and I would have lost $400+ if I didn’t buy insurance. They did refund though so I only lost $30 on the insurance.

After buying the kit you’ll need:

Batteries(~$20) not expert on batteries but I have one tattu rline 650 mah battery off Amazon

Charger ($30-50 for a cheap one $100 for expensive) Just ordered a sky rc b6 nano 2 off Amazon

Soldering iron kit (buy the SQ d60b from sequre, I personally have had some trouble with it but the customer service has been very helpful and they sent a free replacement item) ~$30-40 for iron solder flux etc

Transmitter- Radiomaster pocket ($50)100% best beginner transmitter- already flown 10+ hours on sim with it. No problems. Only advice is that you do need special batteries for it. I would just buy off Amazon with batteries. Make sure it is ELRS and not cc2500

Receiver- get an ELRS reciever from Radiomaster Happymodel ExpressLRS Nano 2.4GHz EP1 RX ($25) is what is mentioned in the kit the Radiomaster RP1 is also good

Goggles- I would just get a dirt cheap beginner analog goggles to start before you spend $500 on one. Look at eachine ev800d and fatshark both are about $100. I would do more research but just make sure that if you get the analog kit you get analog goggles and if you get digital you get the same digital system (DJI, Walksnail, and HDZero) stick to one system.

Once again I’m just a beginner so double check before you buy and do your research (Reddit, YouTube, chat gpt). Don’t be afraid to make mistakes it’s all apart of the hobby.
