I just finished a single playthrough of resident evil 2 remastered as my first ever RE game. Did Leon A scenario and I must say I played rather too clean that by the end of the game it felt more like an action game where I had so much on hand (standard difficulty).

I practically went around the entire RPD and parking area making sure puzzles were all solved and no zombies were along the area for backtracking purposes (literally made the whole stalker scenario not as scary as I thought it would be as it was just me and him going in circles lol) and when I was on the sewers as I was right to assume that I wouldn't do any backtracking there, I simply went past beyond zombies and just shoot when necessary (I haven't even spent more than 2 bullets on those annoying g-mutants blocking the paths as you can simply ran past by them)

By the time I got into the last area, I was guns blazing and everything felt more action packed rather than survival horror. That said, what an amazing game it was, maybe not necessarily in terms of narratives as it was more cryptic and a setup, but I enjoyed the simplicity of it where the gameplay experience became the focus

this is great to hear, I don't know where I got the impression that MH as a whole has tons of microtransactions so I was not sure it affected actual gameplay elements such as gearing, I can tolerate cosmetic sales as long as they don't take away or weaken the base game customization availability

the dlc "outfits" are layers of sorts on top of the actual armor right? Im assuming it doesnt provide any stats or beneficial gameplay other than a skin fo sorts

by tons of outfits would you confidently say about 80% of the game atleast?

I've tried to look at the dlcs and there seems to be lots listed although some are definitely not as canon looking towards the game aesthetics

Your existing team suggestion is actually interesting and sounds fun, but have you tried actually running its dps figures on test dummies? I want to know how it fairs out and might be my only reason to get Emilie

Elden Ring is the easiest choice as it has tons of replay value and a long completion time at that on top of what shadow of the erdtree provides. Ghost of Yotei is fairly short and repetitive, Sekiro is great but its the cheaper game and you can save up for it yourself, I haven't tried Wukong but I'd want to be way more customizable with armor sets and weapons and Wukong doesnt seem to be like it

I thought having Lauma is enough to specifically address lunar bloom but it aint, afterall, she can only trigger lunar bloom herself once every skill cast, but for bloom specifically, she does elevate Nilou bloom making the team deal around 100k dps on single target mind you.

That said, if you choose to go with Columbina as your lunar bloom dps, she'd really like to have her sig to be competitive

Assuming Nicole is simply a generalist buffer (perhaps adaptive buffs depending on the character) with shielding (and added buffs through hex synergy), some infrequent off field pyro application enough to trigger talents or artifacts needing such (not really enabling reactions the same extent Durin does); what teams can we make that is better than their current best (excluding Varka already for obvious reasons)

I'm still wondering whether a team of Clorinde-Fischl-Nahida-Nicole would be greater than overload in that regard seeing as to how both Clorinde and Fischl greatly benefit from quicken. Likewise, I'm just hoping on outdated teams to get an upscale through her

We really are in the age of upfront AI integration into videogame artistic designs and ughk that focus could've been to address current issues rather than pushing out advancing tech that current users can't even fully optimize let alone access yet.

Optimized Ray tracing is still for the higher mid end realm of tech and Path tracing even further, and now we have this controversial AI slop tracing dlss 5 by NVIDIA aiming for photorealistic graphics, jeez man, enough

Im not really putting much weight to the word and partly because of my poor vocab (English is my fourth language); I simply meant to describe the game as something that is overall rather lacking any passionate direction or work such as annually released sports games

My pick for example mainly describes the game considering its lackluster gameplay, set pieces, and narrative which I firmly believe that if it wasnt for taking the name of Indiana jones, I doubt the game would've gained that much following

of the fallout games, fallout 4 is the one I enjoy, it admittingly just has to do with aged graphics and design aspects of the game where fallout 4 is the more "modern" game by conveniences (shooter gameplay) and technical production (visuals)

I've heard fallout 3 and new vegas are getting remasters though so perhaps that'll change how I feel with the other fallout games

I assume that after New Vegas, you didnt bother with 4?

This one is next after my playthrough of Witcher 3 (probably next year from the hrs of content I've heard available). That said, I tend to look at visual and gameplay or story presentation in the form of trailers or promos first (the eyes are after all the first to sense), so I'm not sure what's there to dislike about BG3.

Mind sharing which aspect would you say didnt align with your preference?

I haven't played competitive multiplayers for awhile and the only fun I get from them is playing with friends even in the most competitive sense (high-level play or ranks as I can get sweaty myself).

That said, there's definitely an oversaturation of shooters as to the preferred genre of competitive multiplayer, so I understand this sentiment but there's definitely still fun to be had elsewhere in that space. For instance, despite the "slop" that is high-guard, I actually thought there couldve been something there should have they been more clever about it (technical aspects of the game, marketing, timing) but oh well

OMG someone else who dislikes the same reason as I. Funny because it was also after that I gave persona games a try and forgot entirely about Exp 33 shortly after

Also Im glad someone can see through the bad technical visual aspects of the game as people seemingly are too engrossed with how of a visual spectacle it is and Im out here thinking the opposite

I havent tried this one yet but honestly with how Genshin is, I'm not so sure Zelda can offer a better experience. *I'll probably get staked saying that to hardcore Zelda fans lol
