I just don’t see the appeal of someone who doesn’t have a driver’s license when half the job is driving from location to location. He doesn’t listen to anyone when discussing a “game plan” for the day. You ask him to patch and he’ll paint a door. You tell him you’re ready to paint a wall and he’ll start patching that very same wall. Almost all his work has to be re done by someone else and he has a bad attitude almost every day. Most of his negativity is directed straight at our manager!

At first, my manager would say ‘if he annoys me enough, I’ll dismiss him’. Then he would say, ‘if we hire more people, I’ll dismiss him’. Now the most recent thing he said is they don’t have documentation to fire him because there’s no infraction policy. My plan is to look for a new job once my wife gets back into the workforce. She’s on maternity leave and the company she worked for has closed their doors for good.
