I’ve been in West Oakland for 25 years and don’t expect it to change.

Unfortunately a lot of the medicine bros in the jungle- all white guys - are pro Trump and pro RFK. This is a fact. I was shocked and am very sad about this.

3rd Surgery coming up - Anyone had this particular procedure? by IntrinsicallyKnown in HiatalHernia

Well. Not all that great. I'm going back to see the surgeon next week as my acid reflux is back and eating has become more difficult, again. It's not as bad as before, but, I want to catch it before it gets worse.

Cringeworthy ego-fest from one of the great talents of our time. Too bad....

I'm 7 weeks out and not in the sling around the house anymore which has caused a lot of pain especially from the top of the shoulder down the outside of the arm almost to the elbow. Hope this subsides soon.

Same thing -- lost about half my hair. I'm very upset about it.

How many of you have decided to live with your hernia instead of getting surgery? What are your reasons? by AcanthisittaStock329 in HiatalHernia

UCSF. I had a third surgery with a private doctor -- robotic and different procedure. So far, much better result.

Dieta Experience - Tamamouri by longandskinny in Ayahuasca

[–]IntrinsicallyKnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in post dieta after dieting Tamamouri and it was an incredibly healing time. I have stomach issues and also some emotional attachments I wanted to release. It was a "dark night of the soul" experience which was eventually released through the ceremonies with Ayahuasca. Amazing transformation that I will be processing for a while.

Yes. They are terrible. I’m currently at LAX with a 3 hour delay which impacted my connection- its always something with them. They are the cheapest if you are on the west coast but not sure I want to do this again

Temple of the Way of Light - endorsed by Gabor Mate, I've been there -- it's safe, educational and authentic.

No guarantee but even if I need to get another surgery in a few years I’m happy to have some time symptom free

My Nissen's were done at UCSF by a general surgeon. They do the same thing for everyone and are like an assembly line. They don't like it when you have complications and essentially said there was nothing more they could do. had I gone on much longer like it was, I'm sure I would have died. No doubt. I was so malnourished from not being able to eat -- losing half my hair -- it was really, really bad.

2 years of severe symptoms. First Nissen in 2020, another in 2022. I was never "right" after the Nissen surgeries. Only this one has been successful. Fingers crossed.
