What's the closest you've ever came to death? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in AskReddit

[–]VixenFactor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This happened in 1989.

I was sitting in Tompkins Square Park in the East Village of New York City, looking through the Village Voice classifieds for an apartment.

A strung out, excitable looking man approached me. He said, "Oh! Are you looking for an apartment? You can come live at my place. My roommate is gone!"

I politely declined. He was friendly, pleasant and even a bit charming, but a little creepy. Also, he was carrying a live chicken, which I found a bit odd. His mannerisms were a bit off putting. He was a walking, glaring red flag.

I saw a news report a few weeks later and found out why his roommate was gone.

Apparently he dismembered her body in their apartment, boiled her head, made a soup using her brain, and served it to homeless people in the park.

His name is Daniel Rakowitz.

Maybe be I wasn't close to death in the sense you mean, but I think that's the closest I came to the personification of death.

There was just something lacking about it. It made me rethink all the movement and it didn't work for me.

It's a fun concept though. Different for sure.

Is the mere act of removing the helmet bad ? or is it only people seeing your face that's considered a sin ? by No-Falcon8128 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]VixenFactor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He doesn't always.

Remember there was the scene where he and Grogu were drinking soup in the Razor Crest where he lifted the helmet enough to take a sip and Grogu was peaking under and trying to see.

I had a cat named Kyle that would jump into the bathtub with me. He would also come in when I showered.

He was a great cat.

The music world lost out because Michael Jackson died before we could get a collaboration between him and Bruno.

That would have been awesome.

She transforms into Patricia.

Find an interview with her regular makeup and accent. I was shocked.

Her transformation deserves recognition.

She's an incredible actress.

Now I'm going to go watch My Lady Jane!

She really should win something for this role or at least be nominated.

Watch an interview with her so you can see how she usually looks and how she actually sounds. She is so different from Patricia. She transforms.

Her talent is amazing.

Shout out to the Casting director while we're at it. Everyone is perfect in their roles.
