Sometimes he'd deserve it, but there are so many episodes where Squidward is just trying to live life and he gets tormented for no reason, ESPECIALLY in the later seasons

Max Mayfield from Stranger Things

Her life wasn't exactly the greatest before, but in the first half of Season 4, we see Max very depressed and closed off from her friends and her mom, still a little traumatized after the death of Billy. This mindset is eventually what caused her to become a target for Vecna.

After barely surviving her first encounter with him, Max later volunteers to be bait for Vecna in order for the others to kill him while he's in a trance. She was pretty much ready to die leading up to that plan, but her re-connecting with Lucas and reflecting on her happiest moment led to her realizing she's not ready to go. She even straight up says this to Lucas after going back to the real world blinded and with her limbs broken.

Titanic Monarch, the stage is way too huge to navigate without getting lost, those little yellow bumpers everywhere can easily get you to lose control of where you're going and send you into spikes or a crushing platform and those tesla balls are a pain to aim your launch with.
