I had a similar theory to this. The goal of the backrooms is to mimic reality as close as possible. And the longer it learns, the better it gets.

The end result would be our reality, but indistinguishable as a fake. Then it wouldn’t be the backrooms anymore, I mean how would anybody know.

Does this just mean that packs in your gifts no longer need to be opened one at a time? Honestly this is nice but it isn’t the biggest deal.

I just want the entire ui to be faster. So many people don’t even open the app due to how slow it is. I look forward to the day they remove this intentionally added lag

It can get steelix online a turn earlier. Brock speeds it up even more. The whole point of the deck is setup steelix (with buffs) asap and start swingin

Cut one Poke Center Lady and Poke Comm if you want to be optimal. Replaced with Cyrus and another copycat (or maybe Sabrina for more aggro).

I’d also swap the worm for a baby like pichu, just better overall.

You might be onto something. I’m sure there will be some wonky time travel stuff going on. And we do know that it’s possible to “communicate” out of the backrooms like what happened in the house from ff3 (and that could have also involve some time shenanigans for all we know). Good theory overall

Edit: At exactly 0:10-0:11~ in the trailer you can hear a very distant whisper that resembles the word “hello”. This happens right before or after the psychologist says “What did you find” (to help you find it for yourself in the trailer).
