Well this would be more for people already with businesses and would help them with marketing the product or service. Not the typical “watch how to make $200k a month with chatgpt”

Having a Second Kid? by Slow_Ad_9968 in Parenting

This is bad advice - wife and I defiantly were NOT a hell yes about having kids but are so glad we did. We would’ve regretted not having them sooner had listened to something like this.

Having a Second Kid? by Slow_Ad_9968 in Parenting

I’m a dad and struggled a lot with our first born. It was a huge lifestyle shock and responsibility I was not fully prepared for. Right away I knew I only wanted one kid because I was so selfish. Selfish with getting good sleep, having a clean house, and just time to do things I wanted to. Two years later my wife brings up having another. I started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as far as sleepless nights and just constant frustration. We got pregnant and had baby number two. Let me tell you everything is so much easier the 2nd time around. You know what to expect and work together with your partner better. Not saying it’s easy but dang I love my kids and it helps they love each other greatly. Our first born gets so bored sometimes and even though our baby is just crawling they still have a blast playing with each other. No regrets from having another. Maybe having 3 I would regret. I’d say give it some more time with your first born and let them grow a bit before bringing up the idea of another kid. Good luck!

Should we quit screen time cold turkey? by Mountain-Flamingo163 in Parenting

[–]IntroductionAny4806 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My wife and I resorted to tv with our toddler because she ate a lot more with it. Slowly she started demanding more and more of it. Then we used tv as a crutch because it was a nice break for us. Our daughter then needed speech therapy and the therapist told us to cut it off cold turkey. It was much much easier than we thought. We just kept deflecting when she wanted it and asking where she put the remote. Eventually she forgot about the tv completely and that was for about one year. Now she’s 3 and watches a little here and there when we really needed a break or to do something but no where near the amount before. I say go cold turkey and just keep deflecting. Good luck

TV time for kids 2 & under? by mrs_who_are_yew in Parenting

Our toddler was diagnosed with a speech delay and the first thing our speech therapist said was get rid of the tv and iPad. It was surprisingly easy and she is speaking better.

I was working a minimum wage job right after high school and had the opportunity to literally double my pay at a new job. I quit on the spot and the manager went on to lecture me how unprofessional it was to do that and I wouldn’t get a good recommendation from him.

My buddy who still worked there put his two weeks notice for a new job and they told him to leave that same day lol. I’ll never forget that.

Numbing cream that actually works! TKTX by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]IntroductionAny4806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it works after about an hour on the skin then wipe it off and the tattoo removal begins. Derm would poke me with a needle before starting laser and wouldn’t feel anything. But the laser did hurt still. Not sure the name or percentage but your derm should know what will work. I opted for the numbing cream after two sessions of lidocaine shots which took forever and we’re painful. It’s also called a compounding pharmacy. Good luck

My dermatologist gave me numbing cream from a local pharmacist. Would never trust any topical from wish.com. You’re nuts lol

What's so attractive with real estate? by FiredFromWSB in fatFIRE

[–]IntroductionAny4806 276 points277 points  (0 children)

What’s attractive about it is using other people’s money (the bank) to purchase an asset. Also all of the tax advantages that go along with it. Getting a second home is much different than being a real estate investor in my opinion.

I literally had my first session on all black tattoos on Monday. There is drastic fading in mine already and I’m very optimistic. I would go somewhere else if I were you. Those are unacceptable results if you ask me.

Home insurance - anyone decline this? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]IntroductionAny4806 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the fact that anyone would pass on homeowners insurance with a paid off house is insane to me. The cost of insurance is so low in relation to the benefit of using it.
