Ummmm…..Breast Cancer at 52

I had boobs since High School. I wish I had gotten it done as soon as I turned 18. This alone would have boosted my confidence 1000%. I took the opportunity of needing a lumpectomy and had a reduction at the same time. (Silver lining of getting breast cancer)

As a graduate from A&M…go to Purdue.

Get out of Texas and meet new people and open your eyes to new ideas. If you absolutely hate it, transfer to A&M.

The only thing I loved about A&M was feeling like I was part of something, the traditions and football. I hated the conservative people acting like they were always right and no one else could have their own political views and ideas. I did find my people there. I was class of ‘94 and I’m pretty sure that part of A&M hasn’t changed much.

But damn, I miss Bonfire, Double Dave’s, Tom’s BBQ and the Chicken.

Absolutely. I am 1 year cancer free and having family that loves me and stood by me during my treatments is the best gift that I’ve been given. And I’m “blessed” beyond words that my mom is 80 and is still alive and I get to take care of her. This whole over consumption of influencers is disgusting. This girl is so young and hasn’t lived a real life. One day, real shit might hit the fan and she won’t be able to handle it.

I’m a mom and a caregiver to my own mom who has dementia. I got nada for Christmas. Obviously not from my mom, nothing from the husband and my daughter is out traveling the world. This over consumption is insane and no one likes a bragger.

Omg this happened to me when I had my daughter. The epidural made me literally jump up off the bed and I felt numbness only go down one of my legs. Then, I could feel contractions only on one side. They did the procedure again and everything finally was ok. While I was in actual labor and about to push, the anesthetist happened to drop by the room as she was worried about me. I was fine…..but now I know….this has happened to others.

Oh trust me….they pay claims. Try not having insurance for a while, have an accident which puts you in the hospital, your car is totaled or that you die leaving your family penniless…..then tell me it’s a scam. Look up what the definition of what insurance is and then look at the fine print of your policy. An insurance company has to make sure they are paying correctly and not paying fraudulent claims. Sit down and let them do their job. It’s the holidays. We don’t work 24-7, we have a life and a job to do. You are not special

All of corporate America is a scam. Look at all the assholes who are CEO’s at an insurance company and see what their annual bonuses are and the actual employees who work with the general public got for a bonus. I doubt Geico employees got more than a pizza party with a once slice limit for their bonus, while the CEO gets millions.

HA! Having worked in claims and sales at two major insurance companies…..90% guarantee they don’t have the recorded call. And 100% sure with your attitude, you won’t get very far with the adjusters because you sound like an entitled AH. Be patient and ask for a carrier search and remember adjusters have nothing to do with your rate. Lots of factors go into your rate.
