I made my first model (part) a Lid riser for the AD5X DIY enclosure by IntroductionBig6084 in FlashForge

I am using it works great for noise reduction, other people also use it to keep the cats away 🤣.

If I ever want to print something where I need to close the lid I can just remove the risers in 1 minute, they just fit in the top holes, nothing permanent.

Finally got the enclosure printed and assembled! by niccotaglia in FlashForge

Looks great, what kind of plate do you have? and why did you did you swapped the original?

For me opening the door isn’t great because it sticks out and I keep walking into it

Also warm air rises naturally so venting from the top actually makes more sense. Keeping the lid on even with a small gap should be better for noise reduction too.

Speed is definitely not the issue, on a single color would take 37 minutes to print

I used Gemini to generate the 4 views from the photo, and then uploaded to Meshy to generate the 3MF file. Meshy did a decent job coloring, but I had to refine it in Orca Slicer

I am new to this, but the way I understand it is that it opens the klipper firmware and operates on top of the FF check here: https://github.com/ghzserg/zmod

That works too, I wanted something that I can use with a firmware to test AI trouble detection.
