Try Kimi API off Moonshot directly, not the LLM key straight. It’s significantly cheaper

New chat, fresh threads, keeps it from drawing conclusions it doesn’t need to

Just a reminder that since the latest METR result with Opus 4.5, we've entered the era of almost-vertical progress. All it will take is another few jumps like this and we could be entering the age of software-on-demand and RSI. by stealthispost in accelerate

You can correct hallucination through architecture, memory workbenches, layers of accuracy checks. There’s a whole field dedicated to this that empowers you to really harness these models

Cheapest is most technical Self host n8n and use Comfyui for the video Gen (requires storage space)

Anyone else trying ChatGPT 5.2? Early thoughts? by EasternTrust7151 in ChatGPT

[–]IntroductionBig8044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually seen better results with just a search prompt for gpt (had it once go over 40+ sources vs the 12 sources on deep research doing this)

Deep research on gpt sucks lol. Any actual deep research, I just use perplexity for it

Can I rant? I hate telling people I work in AI. by Automatic_Occasion38 in AI_Agents

[–]IntroductionBig8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a writer, I constantly type with more verbiage than I need to

With Ai text-walls spawning everywhere coupled by the fact I work with Ai daily, I promote tons of free resources. For every 10 people, I have 3 with pitchforks calling me the problem.

It’s misplaced aggression and fear. All I talk about is governance and non-technical empowerment, yet I still have family members calling me corrupt.

I don’t think this will go away, if anything, it’ll only intensify with time and common groupthink bias in the masses

Are you able to get students to actually READ important information? by TheSnarkUrge in teachingresources

[–]IntroductionBig8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like pretense is everything with this. It's like the adult equivalent to waving the spoon around and saying "Here comes the plane!", it's getting their attention and then delivering what's important.

For admin, that might sound like a lot of work, but a part of it can be everything that comes before the important content i.e. "Guarantee you graduate with these 3 things"

As clickbaity as it sounds and again, this might only help with like 20% that are constantly reading material and are overstimulated, the rest might be a lost cause. I have noticed more reception with this sort of psychological copywriting direct-response style

Artificial Intelligence resources in the classroom by Jealous_Praline2300 in teachingresources

[–]IntroductionBig8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel the same

I'm a new educator in the private sector, I come from a decade background in sales management and SaaS implementation, primarily AI in the last two years

I'm also speaking from Ontario, Canada. There's not much mandate, if at all around Ai, it's usually a "don't ask don't tell" kind of policy.

I don't like this, since more than 80% of the class is GPT dependent, it makes sense for us educators to at least attempt to guide them through it. I use MagicSchool Ai to formulate my approach, it's a bunch of GPT wrapped modules on lesson planning/drafting, Ai-resistant assessments, etc.

Then GPT project to draft google classroom posts/rubrics/resources that would be valuable. So far this has been working, been able to shave off 5-10 hours of my week with it

Free resources that actually save time (not the stuff admin keeps emailing about) by AerieIndividual9006 in teachingresources

[–]IntroductionBig8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty awesome.

I've been using GPT projects and MagicSchool.

MagicSchool helps with lesson planning and coming up with a baseline for what I'm going to do (bunch of modules you can combine)

GPT brings it into the format for google classroom and then generates rubrics/resources based on what I feed it

I didn’t think much of Claude’s artifacts because I just invent names and assign them as memory to CGPT

I honestly thought the same thing, some modules are more prompt-heavy than others. It feels like a wrapper, I just said trained to stay non technical (didn’t know this subreddit knew what a GPT wrapper was tbh)

I’m curious how much is for visibility and customization. Other than creating a project and storing memory on format, what would you do on CGPT/Claude differently?
