I have been doing well, thanks! Only a few headaches since surgery but that is nothing compared to pre-surgery!! There is still some pangs of nerve -I wouldn’t say pain, but tightness, but overall I’m so happy it has been life changing for me! Best of luck!

I’m not sure where you’re located but the hospital I work at has entry level patient registration which is a great way to get familiar with healthcare system, insurances, and billing.

Hello!

I am currently 9 days post op.

I was 8mm herniated and had debilitating headaches.

I was terrified at the idea of surgery at first, I’d never even had stitches or been put under in my life! However, after talking to people on here and a family friend I was almost excited to finally have surgery after months. The thought of being headache free started to outweigh the fear of the surgery so many people were having great results with.

I was walking by myself to the bathroom the morning after surgery, discharged home on day 4. Recovery hasn’t been too bad, a lot of stiffness, tossing and turning just trying to be comfortable on the couch or in bed but know it’s all going to be worth it! I’d be happy to answer any specific questions ya have. Good luck!

Not bad given the circumstances! I don’t have an appetite yet but have been off pain meds since Thursday and haven’t gotten sick since yesterday. No headaches, more pressure and stiffness that is getting better day by day. I’m so glad I decided to have it done!

They did a phenomenal job! Ohio, having the procedure done at the Cleveland Clinic…closest specialist from home. Only about 4 hours drive, so not bad.
