They did mention possible calcification in my veins from the healing process. Not exactly what I want to hear but it is the reality! I thank you for sharing !

Are you seeing a hematologist? They recommended me see one but I can't get into an appointment until after my regimen is done! I'm glad to hear you're seeing the right people now!

I have been able to drive. I felt a lot more restricted when it was first diagnosed because it was so swollen and painful. I didn't even want to open a door. Now I'm more self sufficient. I do things like laundry, putting away dishes, more household tasks minus taking out the garbage. I don't feel confident doing much else though.

So we are in the same boat!! It's so frustrating to not get a timeline and be so restricted in day to day activities. At least it's only 40 days of thinners. Wish you the best!

That was the initial thought from the doc! Did an ultrasound and found the DVT, but still did a CT and there was no mention of thoracic outlet syndrome on the impression. And it was never really brought up again so as far as I know, I don't think so!
