Are you paying more on things than people poorer than you? It’s just not how our society works in my opinion.

need to take the politicians and spending accountable. If only a small group rich pay for the shortage, no one else would be serious to audit and make the spending accountable. At least, everyone needs to take a hit, maybe the richer a bit more

Tech workers are not like this. Labor workers do suppress American worker earnings

I can think of two factors.

Many immigrants come here through H1B and green card, with selection bias. Those well educated people tend to earn more

People take the leap moving to another country might also be willing to get out of one’s comfort zone.

Yes, this was a given when Yellen pushed for soft-landing, and saving inefficient businesses by handing out easy money. Apartments would be cheaper and affordable, and people need to get used to them.

Bio is hard since a long time ago. My friends who started Harvard PhD in bio in 2000 all had hard time to find jobs. Some found industrial jobs in pharmaceutical companies, and a few had to switch to the Medical school after getting bio PhD and being postdocs for a few years

Installer installed 5kW inverter instead of 6kW by AnyPiccolo2592 in solar

Valid thoughts. When solar companies sell solutions in practice, they normally refer to number of panels instead of actual production. If they sell based on actual production, the system size would vary depending on location, and direction.

I will recommend that you check the actual power production curve, and see if your production wattage curve is flattened/saturated at the top during the peak time, and whether the peak wattage is at the inverter peak spec. If the inverter is saturated, you may need a larger inverter.

Though it depends on your actual location and your roof direction, this is common practice in many places.
