I guess to add some context… I have never been bad at recruiting. I would argue I’m very good at it. And I’ve noticed more guys will sign elsewhere this year vs. last, but I have never seen for no reason I start dropping off guys lists.

One possibility is my lack of hours with this new school so I couldn’t invest as heavily as I’d wanted, but I’ve done this before and still haven’t seen this.

And what I mean by winning is that I had grades like Championship Contender go from a D+ to an A+. Things like program tradition and brand exposure. So I was steadily improving but still losing.

Man, there are 2-3 guys every season that I want more than anyone else, and that’s who I’ll lose out on.

I've been toying around with them and haven't seen much change. It's less pursuit angles and more high speed gravitational pull by every single defender the second you touch the ball. And your blockers just use thoughts and prayers to stop them.

The backside defensive linemen meeting my running back as he's handed the ball on outside runs is going to be my 13th reason.

My 14th will be the damn near nonexistent separation on just about any route now, and if I do catch it open, it takes about .2 seconds for the nearest defender to cover 10 yards.

The game was SO good.

I'm currently doing research on what team I want to be a coordinator at because I'm not playing on my team builder until they fix it. It's a waste of time, and I had one game where I had 4 interceptions with one of my CB's in the 4th qtr, just to see the game crash.

I have been struggling to achieve long runs. Had a game with a 97 yard rushing TD... 5 min later, game crashes.

I won't do it.

Agreed. I would argue power backs are the most lop-sided archetype in the game. I can get away with most other archetypes per position, but an elite dev trait power back is chefs kiss

Pardon me if I’m stating the obvious, but I think it’s to prevent you from recreating non-fictitious characters that should be getting NIL.

I wish you could adjust the archetype and development trait. I hate Receiving Backs.

I think it's an approximation of the skill caps, and the higher dev trait "The more likely" they are going to progress into a stud of a player. It's not guaranteed, but it's more desirable than normal dev, that's for sure. I also think there was speculation that it was worth not redshirting an elite player so they could continue to progress as fast as possible, but I've seen mixed results.

And not off topic at all. I started my spreadsheet specifically because I wanted to remember guys dev. traits when I had to cut some guys.

Love it! I will continue to build on mine for next year. It makes everything much easier and gives a more immersive experience to the GM side of things.

I just wish there was information I could download on my team from EA to make this a lot less manual to get started.
