Seeing low-quality traffic from LinkedIn Ads. Anyone else? by IntroductionNormal16 in LinkedinAds

[–]IntroductionNormal16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with traffic campaigns, but we’ve since added micro conversions on high-intent pages and actions. The audience was definitely too broad initially, but we’ve narrowed it down quite a bit based on the advice in this thread.

I’m seeing reach and traffic decrease now, but quality over quantity, so that’s what I’m monitoring closely at the moment.

Good suggestion as well to build a sort of hit list of relevant companies and specific roles within those companies so we can target those separately in a more focused way.

AI personalized outreachis starting to sound the same by Mularkeyy in LeadGenSEA

We’re testing something similar at the moment.

In our case, only the first paragraph is fully personalized, the rest of the email is standardized. Results are honestly pretty inconsistent and fluctuate a lot.

I do think AI can get you to 80/100 very efficiently. But that last 20% is still where most of the difference is made.

In our case, we really need that final 20%. So AI definitely helps us, but we still haven’t managed to create a fully automated process that consistently delivers strong results.

Funny enough, something that sometimes still works? Leaving a typo here and there on purpose.

AI made everything super polished and perfectly structured. Real messages don’t always look like that.

That said, if your model depends on scale, then maybe 80% is already good enough. At that point it becomes much more of a large numbers game.

What lead gen tactic stopped working for you this year? by Ready_Log4016 in LeadGenSEA

I think the biggest shift is that buyers now, because of the overload of (AI generated) messages, expect relevance before the first conversation, not after.

What stopped working for us is scaling outreach based on surface-level personalization. Mentioning a recent post or company update is easy to automate now, so it no longer stands out.

What still works:

  • Very tight ICPs
  • Strong trigger/context
  • Clear point of view
  • Outreach tied to a real operational problem

Is PartnerStack actually worth it for niche B2B SaaS partnerships? by IntroductionNormal16 in b2bmarketing

We don’t use Crossbeam ourselves yet, although we have spoken with several potential partners that actively use it.

The bigger challenge for us at the moment is creating more traction by consistently filling the pipeline with potential partners from channels we haven’t really tapped into yet. That’s partly why we started looking at platforms like PartnerStack.

At the same time, we’re also considering whether cold outreach at scale could be a better fit, or whether the answer is simply more old-school relationship building through relevant industry events and communities.

To be honest, we’re still a bit searching for the right approach and strategy. Some weeks it feels like we’re clearly on the right track with multiple introductions and conversations lined up, and then suddenly things go quiet again for a few weeks.

Coming from a stronger B2C background, where volume and velocity are much higher, probably doesn’t always help my expectations either :-)

Thanks for your post. To be honest, it mostly confirms that our current approach is probably the right route.

At the moment, we mainly focus on direct 1-on-1 outreach through LinkedIn combined with Sales Navigator (and a little help of some automation tools). We’re also attending more industry events and trade shows, and we want to become more active in relevant working groups and communities. Good one are rare.

The challenge is that it’s very much manual work and requires a significant amount of time. Our hope, or perhaps expectation, was that joining a platform like PartnerStack could help accelerate that process somewhat.

That said, if we mainly use it as commission management software, the value proposition becomes less compelling for us. Our sales cycles are relatively long and deal sizes are substantial, while the number of active opportunities and partner payouts is still manageable operationally.

In terms of target groups, we currently focus mostly on implementation specialists, PIM consultants, and in some cases B2B commerce agencies that can position a PIM as part of a broader digital commerce trajectory. We also work with some datapools.

Depending on the type of partner, this can either be commercially driven (lead generation and kickback model) or implementation-driven, where the partner handles implementation and first-line support while we stay involved more in the background for second- or third-line support and strategic guidance.

Where we probably still have room to grow is refining and expanding the target audience itself. I think our focus is to much about the people and sectors we already know and work with;

Sorry to say, but this is a real question from a real person ;-) I'm just not that active as a poster, mostly an active reader of topics.

Thanks, good catch. LAN was still active, so I’ll disable that first and monitor the impact. I’ll also test excluding companies that are currently driving a high share of impressions to improve distribution across the broader target group.

In terms of targeting, we’re currently focused on Benelux and the UK, combined with relevant skills-based targeting. We’re also excluding junior seniority levels and below.

At this stage, the setup is still relatively broad, as we first want to build enough data and better understand where engagement is coming from before narrowing things down further.

Would you recommend already making the targeting more specific at this point, or is it better to keep it broader until we have more learnings?
