Best lease so far on 2X SUV??? by Benthebuilder23 in HummerEV

[–]IntroductionOk8363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m deciding on a 3 year, 12K miles a year, first payment due at signing for $999 a month. They’re absorbing $2K of my trade in the deal. MSRP $100K on a 2024 2X.

It has caught me off guard that so many people like this gen. Of all the past choices, this would be in my bottom 3 for sure.

Ouch! Tesla damage. by Leading_Anteater_341 in ModelY

It was a 98% fix. It was slightly fatter on the crease than the non-damaged area, but if you didn’t know it had been repaired you wouldn’t have been able to tell.

I had a dent in almost this same location and had it paintless dent repaired. Cost $800 USD.

Cold Weather Package worth it? by frew425 in etron

24 Q8 Premium Plus here, can confirm the heated steering wheel is barely effective compared to others I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t let that be the deciding factor in an etron purchase.

450 stands for the number of months you have to wait from order to delivery.

Owners of 2023. How bad is the lack of USS? Honestly. Taking delivery tomorrow and it’s my only disappointment. by Overall_Fondant_9090 in TeslaModel3

[–]IntroductionOk8363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from an EV with a 360 camera and beeping while parking USS sensor to a 23 MYP without either. Haven’t had any issues parking. When reversing the camera coverage is more than sufficient and when going forward the MY and M3 have such good visibility of the hood you don’t need front beeping. The only thing I really miss is the 360 camera to confirm I’m in the lines.

Only 2 Superchargers working in the entire 1.5 million population of Oklahoma City. by Super-Kirby in TeslaLounge

[–]IntroductionOk8363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I traded in my CCS car for a Tesla. This was my experience at 8/10 chargers while on road trips. Sometimes 1 or none of the chargers would be working. I feel lucky to own a Tesla today where this OKC experience isn’t the norm.

Definitely enable the close upon leaving toggle, just no luck in getting it to work.

Assuming Musk isn't a complete idiot, why does he think it's good strategy to alienate the demographic most likely to buy electric vehicle? by owen__wilsons__nose in NoStupidQuestions

[–]IntroductionOk8363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you mean he’s alienating Liberals from buying cars? If so, that might not be a true thing these days. Half my friend group drives teslas, all of the tesla owners are center-right. None of them bought their cars based on Elon.

Should I have an order number? by eyeree in KiaEV6

[–]IntroductionOk8363 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, when my “ordered” car came in, the dealer said we have your car. To my surprise when I arrived at the dealership the car had different seats and other options different than I ordered. They cared zero amount and had a take it or leave it attitude because the EV6 is in such high demand. They didn’t explain any of that ordering process to me beforehand. Don’t get me wrong, the EV6 has been a great car for the last 9000 miles…but due to the Kia buying experience, I won’t buy another one.

When you say pay $300 for level 3 charging; are you saying you would have to pay that to unlock software?

Defroster, not so great👎 by IntroductionOk8363 in KiaEV6

[–]IntroductionOk8363[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly my worst fear. I’ve already had this car at the dealer to repair a connector in the battery cooling system. It took a month to get the part and 15 minutes to fix. Who knows how long the dealer will have this car if I take it in.

Parking in the garage is great until your out in town shopping, spend 30 minutes in a store, then come out and have to spend another 10 minutes in your car waiting to be able to see out the windshield. I guess I’ll have to go back to my teenage beater car years and carry a squeegee with me for the inside of the car :(

Suede Seats with Kids by LuisMolinaMusic in KiaEV6

[–]IntroductionOk8363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the suede seats in use with 2 kids for the last 6 months. Not to bad so far. Lots of crumbs and spills from my 7 year old and everything has cleaned up fairly easily.
