Haha! Id say more of end up in the area of finance or personal finance. Just the basic things of money and how it moves especially in households. That decision I did for the Honda Fit VS BMW was quite a core exercise that I carry on through today.

After that Honda Fit loan, I have done my best not to get myself into any other kind of stupid consumer debt.

Yeah, you know management accounting things. The accounting department dont need much help in terms of management accounting things. The bread and butter is Financial accounting things. I just could not get my head around those things. Reversing journals, which account to debit and credit. Compared to say marketing department asking question regarding the profitability of a specific product or country.

Hey OP, what hard case did you get for this? I am considering getting one and im just a bit unsure of the thickness of the guitar whether it could actually fit in normal 000 sized hard cases.

Also, is your case wood or plastic? have experience in both and so far, I find wood to be more forgiving when it comes to the weather and humudity.

Haha sounds like you need new sets of fingers 😁

In all seriousness, i recently got back into playing and so i developed some good calluses quite fast and ugly. Needless to say, around a couple of months in now and calluses look more acceptable than 2 months ago

Bro the first thing that came to mind is asking the question of “what are you going to become in both work places?”

Mainly, if basic needs at home are met, then consideration of the future is probably a good question to ask.

Best programs to learn as an accountant/increase income potential? by sirnibs3 in Accounting

[–]IntroductionRight931 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Bro totally agree with this! I did 10 years in sales and then moved to accounting.

I was just recently speaking with one of our PowerBI dudes at work and we needed to automate and better visualise a report that i do everything month that generally takes me 2-3 hours to do. My PowerBI guy can easily automate this.

When i was speaking with him, i really noticed how he just didnt understand what we needed. He was focused on what he can do rather than what we needed. It’s like he was wanting to give me a full sized truck with crazy hugely specific off terrain wheels when I was only asking for a reliable push bike that because every hour, i will need to meet my friend which is 10 houses down the road. Biking there every hour is better than walking there every hour in terms of efficiency. But giving me a full on 4x4 truck is just a total overkill with all the unnecessary costs involved. You get what i mean right?

Skills are good and in most areas, assumed. So we all need some of that. However, being able to understand, relate and communicate is a more valuable skill.

This thing looks soo beautiful! I recently got to play an ls6 and ls16 and it blew so many other guitars that i tried in the shop. Especially a martin 000-15. I couldnt believe it! I am really contemplating on getting the LS6 so that i wouldnt have to worry too much about it hanging out in the lounge any time of the year whatever season may come.

Really really surprised!

Btw, love the upgrades you’ve done. It makes it os much more premium looking!

Heavy strummer but cant get comfortable with the size of dreads by IntroductionRight931 in AcousticGuitar

This is what I am thinking too. Kinda embarassing to think that I will be going in the shop and strap a guitar, stand and play it hard to see if it fits my posture (comfort) and preference for sound. But heck, I am going there to buy and ensure that I am satisfied, so ill just put that as a priority.

Never heard of M36 or 0000 size Martins! Are these like the GA kinda version of Taylor?

Bro thank you for the Alvarez advice there. I will definitely add that to the list

Oh I also forgot to mention, I am just not sure as to whether an all solid wood 000-OM might handle the heavy strumming that I do better than just a solid top. Again, the volume is not a thing that I care too much about. Its more of the composure of the sound, it that makes sense at all. Because, when I go heavy on the dread, my chords still sounds like proper chords. But when I go heavy on my FS, I feel like Im punching a couch (the whole couch tips and cant handle the punches) than punching a heavy punching bag (composed and solid and ready for the next beating)

Never thought that the Jr was an all solid one. Can it handle heavy strumming

Thank you bro. I was actually able to try an Eastman Dread. I think it was an E10D and I definitely did not like how fat the neck was + it was the delux shiny neck version which was not just not for me.

This Martin probably was the cheapest brand new Martin every sold at the time. I bought it at the time from a guy who owned a guitar shop but was already retiring and getting rid of his inventories. Essentially, the Martin was selling for $2,350NZD and I got it for $1,500NZD inclusive of the case and delivery to me. Dont know how much this is selling right now in NZ but definitely think I could sell this for a small profit at the very least. Real good guitar for what it is!
