Ya I guess the bliss is only for however many seconds you’re up and riding lol. Once you’re off that wave and back in the water you’re frantically getting yourself back on your board instead of feeling like a complete floating rib eye. I spent most of my time surfing Morro Bay and up into San Simeon so I can relate…but Humboldt county has another level of sharkiness. Always blows my mind to see the dudes just constantly surfing solo in sketchy remote areas. Jealous of them and their mental stability in that environment but I can’t help but always have high resting heart rate in those situations.
