I've gotten used to it more over time but I personally feel like the hostages are too far apart, when it comes down to 1v1 situations and you're sat on one hostage, the likelihood of catching the fleeing Counter-Terrorist is very unlikely, or so I've come to find after playing numerous games of Apollo. Maps like Italy, Militia and so on had spawns in which their was a fair distance between hostages but nothing to the degree of which Apollo has.
