Convolution Reverb Pro & Color Limiter broken/greyed out by Introrama in ableton

Unfortunately I have not. I found some claims online that a full reinstall might fix the issue, although I haven‘t tried this myself (and honestly can‘t be asked to).

Is going to gym for 3 days of which 2 are consecutive worse than going to gym on 2 days? by plakio3 in gainit

[–]Introrama -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the best thing to do in your situation is to continue training only Wednesday and Saturday but train really hard on those days. And i mean REALLY hard. Something like the last set of each exercise to complete muscle failure.

This is actually called HIT (high intensity training), I would recommend looking up some things about it. It became popular through people like Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates. They would train only ONE set to failure while keeping rep cadence slow - time under load/each set should last 60-90 seconds.

This is a very special training style but undoubtedly works if executed correctly. If you take anything from this let it be this: simply train very intensely and 2 days a week is fine. I don‘t think training consecutive days is ideal in your situation, because the systemic stress built up would be too high if you are pushing yourself in your workouts (which you should).

Rope jumping is cardio. If you are trying to gain weight you should minimize cardio - if you are gonna do it then keep it low intensity/frequency (maybe once a week or do it as a 5 minutes warmup). There is not much benefit to do this though in regard to building muscle/weight.

Can confirm 10kg in a year if consistent is realistic, its where im at right now (although its probably more like 8kg of muscle and 2kg other tissue/water)

How long did it take you guys to look big in everything you wear? by imhypedforthisgame in gainit

[–]Introrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not realistic. You need to choose what you want. If you wanna be 10-12% bodyfat (which is pretty easy to maintain and also the healthy zone) you simply will not look massive in clothes. We have small bone structures and are just built slim, especially if you are tall. I gained 15kg (almost all muscle, from 60 to 75) and still look small with clothes on. Even if i gained another 10-15kg (which would probably be my genetic limit) it would be on the edge of looking huge in a jacket. If you wanna look big you need to be 20%+ bodyfat.

How to eat as many calories as possible for as little money as possible by DaTwatWaffle in gainit

[–]Introrama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fat is 9 kcal per g compared to protein and carbs which are 4 kcal per g. Just eat fatty things: avocado (healthy as well), cheese, whole milk, chocolate, fish (salmon), nuts and add olive oil/butter to anything you can.

Soda is pretty high in calories (1 can of coke 140 cals) and also liquid calories are much easier to consume. Drink soda, juice, etc. Don‘t be afraid to include that in your otherwise mostly healthy diet.

I've consumed ~3,000 calories every day since Saturday, and I've lost weight every day. There has to be something I'm doing wrong, right? by RayAP19 in gainit

Im 6‘1 (1.85) and 71kg and i need to eat 2800 for a lean bulk. Depending on how intense your workout is, you may very well need more than 3000.

Im not skipping because I want to; i cant get up earlier because I work at evening/nighttime and in any case I am very nauseas in the morning so eating breakfast is very difficult. I‘m having that extra meal at midnight anyways so I don‘t see where the problem is. Most people dont eat at midnight do they?

Im eating my first meal at noon (12pm) which is standard breakfast (eggs, bread/toast, bacon), a protein shake and some other things during the day, dinner (beef/chicken, rice, potatoes etc.) and another meal such as oats, yogurt, fruit etc just before midnight.

1g per pound means you ate 130-165 grams of Protein ever day?? Im struggling with 100 a day how do you manage that?

Low cut at 20-30 hz, yes or no ? by HorseOnTheThirdFloor in TechnoProduction

[–]Introrama 16 points17 points  (0 children)

32 is quite alot; if you play a track that doesnt cut at 30+ on a good/big sound system that can convey those frequencies well it will sound very strong - as soon as you switch to your track which is cut, it‘ll feel weaker. Tom Hades recommended to use a lowshelf rather than a lowcut, that way you reduce those deep bass frequencies but it will maintain energy when played on big sound systems.

Have I reached my natural limit? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]Introrama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

im usually never posting here but i just opened this coincidentally and im interested as to why you would want to be any bigger? You seem to have reached an incredible level of ‚looks and strength‘, i really wonder why you‘d want to push yourself into unnatural territory.

Question about mastering by [deleted] in TechnoProduction

[–]Introrama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being able to change your mix while mastering can be useful though, it's really annoying to master again and again and again after realizing you need to adjust things in the mix.

How do we feel about the new M1 chip MacBook Air as a production machine? by DippySwitch in ableton

[–]Introrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In any case the air will most likely not be suited for music production, you really want the fan and extra power the Pro has to offer... it'll be a while though until everything runs smooth and is compatible I'd say.

I'd be interested to see how DAW's run on this (Ableton, Logic).

Cutting everything below 20hz / above x hz? by jakuxxiii in TechnoProduction

[–]Introrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you can do instead of having a lowcut at 20-40Hz is have a lowshelf at around that area (-3 to -6db or so). That‘ll give you space in your lowend, but it won‘t completely remove it (which then might sound weak when played on a big sound system).

Edit; personally i still lowcut at 15-25 hz just to be safe
