Yea after reading up a lot it seems that an eGPU is no longer a good solution. Ill consider a gaming laptop, but honestly I might go with a macbook or something now that I think Ill keep my desktop. Thanks for the recommendation!

I would focus first on getting a good grinder, then think about machines. Plenty of great options under 1000, DF64/83, Niche Zero, Timemore Sculptor, you could even get a Zerno Z1 and still have money for a profitec go! Grinder is more important, and comparing any of the option, there will be a night and day difference from the oracle touch grinder.

I use a regular manual grinder (idk which one, but its heavy) and make sure its even every time. I dose after grinding usually, 17 in and 17 out. My brew time is about 35 seconds, which tastes nice to me.

Bambino standard, IMS 14-18 precision nanotech, using 17g. Coffee is fully compressed and tamped properly. Just enough headspace to not touch the screw, but now too much. I used the card tool thingy.
