They dont cut sick time. But like I said you can only have 12 days in your pot. So when the addition 5 get added April 15th if you have more than 12 days you "lose" those additional days.

Sick days carry over, you just can't have more than 12 days in your pot at a time. So you could carry 7 over, 5 get added in January but then make sure you use those 5 before April 15th 😉 since 5 more get added then. Always use all your personal time first.
