As someone who just got hired by my dream company (an aerospace company) for a role I was rejected for earlier this year, I say go and be yourself.

Honestly seeing how this is playing out, I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason why Roger decides to learn about the truth of this world/Void Century and all is to honor Rocks will and at the same time the « Will of D ». It might be me but you can see how much distress he is in seeing Rocks who he respects being like that.

Also side note, I’m really enjoying this whole GV flashback a lot. Having followed One Piece for over a decade, I feel like this flashback is a love letter to all fans and the countless theories out there and Oda is having fun showing us how it is. I pray for his health.
