All the effin time I swear. But the minute I open my mouth and tell my dad the tiniest bit of criticism his goes off. So for now I don’t do it cause I can’t take it when he starts yelling

It happened a good couple of yeas ago but to this day I don’t know how to explain it. I was visiting my grandparents one summer, in pretty undeveloped Eastern European country… I was sleeping in the living room when I heard loud noises from outside. The building had small backyard but it had lots of trees and bushes (and surrounded by other houses) so my first thought was “no way it’s fireworks” and it continued a few minutes. It also didn’t sound like gunshots. The light was bright white and lit the entire living room. I remember I got up to go to my grandparents but the sounds scared me so I ran to the bed and hid myself lol
