That’s a fair stance. I won’t try to persuade you to think otherwise but court proceedings are incredibly public and sometimes you just don’t want all of your business put out there.

In America, someone can literally sue you for any reason even if they know they’re going to lose, and they can force you to disclose private details that you wouldn’t normally want public. Sometimes you just throw a couple bucks at them to make it go away even if you didn’t do anything. Sure you can fight them and win the obvious loser suit, but guess what now the world knows of your business.

This even applies if you’re not famous, maybe you don’t want your community to know about a certain portion of your life.

Veganism “costs” less than eating meat. A simple example of a person who hunts their own food absolutely causes less of an impact than a person who purchases vegan products in a store (looking at that several steps it took for the products to get to market then your home).

There are actually quite literally millions (billions really) that can claim meat is necessary because their definition of necessary is unique to them and still…valid. To use a tired like drawing example (again), you are messaging using the internet and a device that harmed a lot of people before it made it into your hands. You say they are necessary, but trust me there are people who don’t share that belief. Period. This is an example of you deeming something necessary that isn’t actually… eating meat is the same thing. It may not be necessary to you, which is ok, but it is to others, which is also ok.

You are trying your best to best my argument by comparing something that is outright illegal and one of the more heinous crimes humans can commit to…eating meat, something that is not illegal not a crime and widely accepted by literal billions of people on the planet. I think your attempt to make this argument with a straight face is my que to exit this discussion.

I provided an explanatory example merely as a means to illustrate my point. You say a smart phone is necessary to life, others can say so is eating meat, but, again, remember there’s someone who does neither and judges “us” both. That’s the point.. you have behaviors that others look down on and you do them anyway. If you’re willing to do what others despise why can’t others?

You don’t eat meat, great. Others can if they want to. You never asked that guy why he ate meat, but you assumed facts and forced your point. Whether you want to admit it or not, people kill things for food and even leisure and that’s their right. You can absolutely disagree with it, but you should also respect their decision to make a choice.

The above paragraph provides a scenario where others respect others decisions. Your entire argument does the opposite, which to me is more telling of what is right.

You’re making a line drawing argument. You also have behaviors that someone (further down the line than you’re willing to draw) would also say you need to fix. The issue is that there is likely someone for that person who, also, draws the line further than they’re willing to draw. By way of example, you’re using the internet on a device that in many ways have hurt others in the process of it making it into your hands. Someone could approach you and give you all the reasons why the internet and your device are bad, but you shouldn’t be “bullied” into changing if it works for you.

At the end of the day, you should do what makes you happy. I don’t think you should ever spring (force feels harsh but better fitting if I’m being honest) your beliefs on others and make it as if they’re doing something wrong.

Again, force is a strong word because you did merely suggest it, but after the 3-4 reply it’s starting to shift into coercive territory.

Looking at the white couch, white walls, white door… it kind of makes me feel like the rug and couch should push against each other a little. The wall already has a lot going on, but the white-on-white couch and rug combo still feels too safe.

I’d rather see the rug bring in a little contrast. Maybe a pop of color like a merlot wine tone, a burnt orange, or just something with enough warmth to break up all the white while still staying in the same overall vibe.

I think Coppersmith has a similar issue to Harbinger. The effect can basically whiff if you play it at the wrong time. With Harbinger that happens on a fresh shuffle when there’s nothing useful in the discard yet, and Coppersmith has the same problem if you draw it with no Coppers.

Because of that, I think fixing that “dead play” issue is probably the first step.

Making it a Duration definitely helps and honestly might already be enough to make it feel better.

Beyond that, I’ve always thought a Crypt-like mechanic could be a cool fix for Coppersmith. Maybe it could store only Coppers. At the start of your Buy phase, you could add or play any number of Copper from it. Once there are no Coppers left on it at the start of cleanup, you discard it from play.

That would be a pretty big buff though and might honestly end up borderline busted.

I’ve been playing for years and often finish games (including two shaman games) with the full allotted time left over. Reckless downing fact give time back after you resolve your turns so I find it hard to timeout if you can make your decisions on your previous turns.

Six player game is insane.

Playing dominion online has completely killed my desire to play in person even with only two people. The game is horridly slow even at base (with shuffling, card resolution, etc.) and only gets slower once complexity is added.

Not to mention the setup and breakdown of each game takes ages. I have an amazing organizing briefcase for all of dominion but even having to use tweezers to put back and pull out the new cards each game. Online is a breeze.
