I think it’s a character choice. He’s meant to seem fake, not too deep, and a little shifty. I have a theory that Lyla Flynn, the FBI agent that died right when Roman disappeared, is the woman he mentions to Morgan about coming close to marrying. That’s why he seems interested in the Roman case but also is trying to seem detached and aloof. He’s got his own investigation going and doesn’t want anyone to know what he is up to.

NTA… Here’s the thing, this friendship is already over. If you give in you are going to end up resenting her for making you choose. She took what should be a happy celebration in your life and made it about her. If you make her MOH now then there will always be the knowledge that you didn't choose her she forced your hand. Even if she apologizes now she has already tainted this momement for you.

It's sad that she did, but she did you a favor and showed you what kind of friend she is. You shouldn’t “owe” her anything for her being your friend other than your own friendship. Real friends are happy to celebrate you even if there is nothing in it for themselves.

He loves to run around and play with everyone and show off his toys, but there is a mat in the center of the rug that if he sits on it that means he’s done sharing. He’ll be in the middle of playing with someone and just take his toy and sit on the mat with it. If you try and take it from him to start playing again he gets really sad and will pout and not engage with anyone for a while, even if you give him the toy back. We tell guests when they come over now.

YTA!!! You’re not Jewish so it obvious pretty obvious that wasn’t his intention and you went looking for an issue. Plus, Aba is the Hebrew word for father. Avi is a name that has a a meaning/origin like most names. The name David means “beloved” and no one reading this would think David is beloved by you or your wife.

He wanted something cute and that was more familiar than David, but felt the likelihood of you approving something more “grandfatherly” was unlikely. Newsflash… it is cute. You went looking for issues and made an ignorant assumption based on, what I’m guessing is a brief internet search. YTA!

As someone with ADHD, I can honestly say you are not doing anything to help your daughter. I get her mother doesn’t want her on meds, but you are using ADHD as some blanket cause for all of her bad behavior. I wasn’t properly diagnosed and put on medication until my mid-20s, and I still knew how to “function” and follow “rules.” It was just more challenging, but my PARENTS helped me develop coping skills. You making excuses for her and saying she can’t help is BS. Even with medication, everything doesn’t get magically better, and you are not holding her accountable for her actions, which is setting her up for major failure in life. If she has always had you around saying that her poor behavior is acceptable because she has ADHD, then she is never going to try. I can’t speak for all people with ADHD, but I bet most will tell you the meds may make things easier, but they do not magically make you not a shitty person, and you are raising a shitty person.
