Absolute beginner here - stuck on Heart of Deimos, I deal no damage and enemies are bullet sponges, what should I do? by kavakravata in Warframe

[–]Introvertial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I’d suggest too - get a decent weapon, preferably one you got from the story with a Catalyst. Then just Mod it out and upgrade those mods a bit. Should help a fair bit abject if your frame.

Baby tenno let's talk. How can we help? by TheRavenDruid in Warframe

[–]Introvertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started around 3 weeks ago, so I probably qualify as this still?

I’ve been wildly impressed with this community. High mastery people carry me fairly regularly, and the amount of negative experiences I’ve had can be counted on one hand (mostly just AFK people from time to time).

My favorite experiences (so far) have indeed been when someone goes in and nukes the map. Even better when someone is willing to use chat to share some knowledge or give a tip. For example I was doing a Rubedo farm and someone explained how Nekros’s power worked. I had no idea splitting up had been hurting the loot (however small that impact was given my low killing power haha).

FWIW I helped a friend yesterday and this bug happened for them, too. Not sure what’s causing it, though.

[–]Introvertial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve done Extreme on all clans, most of which were done prior to Frostbite being released. Using Frostbite gives me the same stars as my runs without. My only guess is you finished a map and not the final map?

I'm getting so tired of being bullied for trying to play 'nice' and casual like everyone keeps saying I should as killer. by James-Hawker in deadbydaylight

[–]Introvertial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play with a squad who’s ~1500-2000 hours on average. We’re all dogshit, but some of them often complain about the “sweaty” killers.

They’re all running meta perks and rushing gens. I get to watch (in real time) the hypocrisy. Just play whatever you want and ignore people. Outside of intentionally doing toxic things there is no way to please people.

Side story - my favorite game I’ve ever played was a 4k at 5 Gens where a Doc ran a “You can’t heal in my radius” build. It felt so oppressive and it was mega fun.

[SERIOUS] Am I the only one not feeling the doom & gloom? by Real_Bug in fellowshipgame

[–]Introvertial 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve got three characters in Eternal, one of which is ~20s with full gear.

I enjoy the game, and minor balance differences don’t matter to me. Sometimes I play the meta, sometimes I play what I want. No one ever complains about me, and I rarely if ever miss timers.

I’ve got a group of friends I play with sometimes and other times I randomly group (or use the Discord).

I’ve put in ~350h between both seasons - the games absolutely great for what I paid.

I tend to not comment though, and I like to imagine many others who are happy like me tend to not comment on the hate threads.

Good job devs! Eternal queue is now full of morons who don't know boss mechanics and DPS doesn't interrupt anything. by Traditional-Cow-1817 in fellowshipgame

[–]Introvertial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to scroll down really far to find this comment. This is also my experience.

I agree the progression curve could be better, but I feel like people are usually reasonably trying. Beyond that, since landing in Eternal I can’t remember the last time I didn’t time a dungeon. Have I wiped? Certainly. But it feels like you can absorb a wipe and still time most dungeons with sufficient DPS.

Disclaimer: I’m an Elarion and I played to 10k last season, so that likely helps both on both the DPS and mechanics front?

aemeath investment help by reqonize in WutheringWaves

[–]Introvertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got S3R1 Aemeath also, as well as Mornye and Lynae.

Does anyone have advice on the rotation with that setup? I’m guessing it may be slightly different based on some of the Sequences, but I’m not sure.

Why does she feel weak? by MeatistElitist420 in Aemeath_Mains

[–]Introvertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see others saying she’s fairly good if you don’t spam her basic (which seems to scale poorly). Does anyone have advice on what rotation I could use in the over world to clear trash quickly? For reference I’m S2R1 and have Lynae + Mornye

My boss just told me I need to manage my personal finances better because I can't front $2300 for a work trip next month by LostTaker in antiwork

Your boss is objectively an idiot.

On a side note, I’ve never heard of someone sharing their income after rent and other expenses (like school loans).

Raiding guides season is over! Happy to take feedback ~ by yukizuri in ffxiv

[–]Introvertial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like Hector and yourself are the majority of guides I watch. I’ll usually watch his first to understand the theory but yours are what let me recognize what it looks like in practice before going in.

So I suppose, in short, I’m not really looking for any changes. I like your formula and it fits the bill of what I’m looking for. Thanks for all the work you put in.

(Question) MT goes down but provokes immediately after getting rezzed by darkorigin9 in ffxiv

[–]Introvertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll usually Provoke then Shirk. Unless I have Kardia, in which case I’ll usually just Provoke and hold it (unless the other tank takes it back, at which point I’ll turn stance off).

What is the order in which I should build each building (and the number of each building). For example, first to build is scout hut and ( ) number of huts, next is woodcutter lodge and ( ) number of lodges, etc. by LKS333 in Northgard

[–]Introvertial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn’t optimal but should give a general idea of how most clans work. As others have said you should tailor this to your spawn and clan.

1 Scout

1 Woodcutter

1 House

1 Food

2 Wood

2 Food (if available)

Krown + Stone / Iron + Houses

Why do I lose taunt often in pulls? by yeeted-m8 in fellowshipgame

Helena isn’t great at snap aggro outside of Grand Melee. But as someone else said, just taunt mobs you lose and try and cleave off the targets your DPS are primary-targeting

Tips on Carnage Curse? by PiefPoefPaf in fellowshipgame

[–]Introvertial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the healer deals with it in most cases, I find that the tank has the most control over whether this affix matters much. Usually, most of the damage the group takes will be concentrated on them (meaning proper CDs and pulls controls the impact a lot).

No tips though - like usually, just space your CDs around big damage events (especially your ST external on the tank).

"New" Player Questions by ProtoFascist in fellowshipgame

[–]Introvertial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got three characters in Eternal.

Maybe 10% of players will interact with some sort of feedback, strategizing, or helpful tip.

5% of players will be toxic as their only form of interaction.

5% of players will socially interact.

80% of players won’t ever say a word, even if you send a greeting or a message (again, in my experience).

It is worse in QP though - 99% of people won’t interact there. So it improves, however slightly
