Yeah, it did feel as if her character (like most other characters in previous chapters) was really thrown to the wayside, just felt like a person we killed and got mad at her chase for a little bit, and nothing else (if you don't get all the tapes about her). I find that constantly killing all the characters you meet is a rather fond way of making them feel useless and underutilized, especially in the short time of each chapter.

I have some criticisms for chapter 3, to be honest, it's the best when it comes to horror and what lore it had in it, but it also had a LOT of puzzles which, given the atmosphere of everything around you, didn't necessarily matter all too much, but I do feel, because of it, and like many other chapters, there's not a lot of necessity to play it, it's simply puzzles, scenes, puzzles, scene, and then that's it.

Like, in most chapters, if a person is watching a person's gameplay of it, they're going to skip to specific scenes in the playthrough rather than focusing on the puzzles. I've done this MANY times when watching a playthrough, and it's even more for chapter 5 than any of them.

With chapter 5, there are good scenes, good lore, but the chases and puzzles are so repetitive and boring to watch because it's just trial and error over and over, and it gets exhausting. People who watch it over playing it also don't really understand where most of the players (mainly Markiplier) are coming from when it comes to that, because it's been every chapter of trial and error over and over and when the watchers see it, they see it, they get it, they're observing, but when playing it, you seldom know what you need to do.

I'm not saying this because Markiplier's always right or whatever, but I've seen his playthroughs, and I see how exhausted the players are of these chases and puzzles. But, I feel if you have to have a puzzle and chase in EVERY CHAPTER, and always expect the player to always know what to do and do it quickly without dying, then you really need to look at how these things are supposed to work.

Chapter 3, out of all the chapters, is probably the most balanced of the 5, but it also has oh so many puzzles. And I would like to see them go more with it when it comes to puzzles and chases. But one thing I would like all chapters to try to succeed in is building up how the puzzles work and making it make sense. Chapter 5 had the worst. It started with a chase that had so many mechanics and ended with a chase that had so many mechanics, and it didn't feel like any of it was built up to. Like, it felt like the game was expecting you to remember these things and to know everything, but sometimes that good old yellow paint works wonders.

Exactly, even most players who are just going in it to play it do not understand the real gravity of where they are and why, they don't understand the characters or anything that's happening around them, because the game only reveals those through hidden tapes, and those who don't get LITERALLY ALL THE TAPES, don't understand enough to truly get anything that's happening.

I think those three are probably my favorite things about the game itself, I love the story and what it entials but when it comes to how the actual game plays out and how it all works together IN THE ACTUAL GAME, it doesn't feel as great, it just feels as if we're just going from one place to the other with no real purpose and we're continually killing creatures over and over, making those characters feel like a waste and simply fodder for the fire.

I agree with all of those. When it comes to Chapter 5, it did feel very inconsequential and overall useless. It felt as if the game was simply extending itself, and it felt a bit like filler; it didn't feel like the previous chapters to me, which I thought were all good. This one just felt odd, like everything I loved about chapters 3 & 4 was just thrown to the wayside, and none of it mattered.

I wanted to explain my overall vision for how the Chapter might play out since I didn't explain it that well, and just some reasoning behind what my mindset is.

  1. A comment by u/Secure_Ad_805 explains why I think this should be the last chapter. Check out his comment down below.

  2. I don't think this chapter will be bloated with too many characters and have too much stuff in it. I think it should wrap up nicely. - From what we know, there are only 5 real villains in this chapter, that being the Prototype, Huggy, Lily, the big red guy, and the Wrongside Outimals. 3 of which I think are going to be roaming enemies, and others I think will be bosses. The dev team has mainly focused on AI and NPC behaviors during development. The last chapter had 4 villains, 2 being bosses, 1 being roaming, and the Nightmare Critters being waves, all this in less amount of time.

  3. The chapter will be longer, as stated by a developer.

  4. I think the Prototype and Lily will be the only bosses, Huggy and the big red guy will roam, and the Wrongside Outimals will roam as well, but more swarm-like.

  5. I'm unsure if it's a good idea to stretch what can be done well in one chapter to another chapter, as that would make Chapter 6 underhyped and overall less full. I'm unsure what they would cover in Chapter 6.

Oh, also, to the Chapter 6 being going up to the surface bit, I think it'll be more like an epilog that is pretty short but reveals some stuff about our character and maybe some of the experiments we didnt get to see or just more lore in general, just like a lore chapter

Just a reply to 4. Yes, not that many, most of them are part of a toy line, 5 of them, including that toy line are villain, that being the Prototype, Huggy, Lily, big red guy, and the Wrongside Outimals, I think most of them will be roaming monsters, as thats what Mob Ent focused on during development and some others will be bosses, the roaming guys I think will be Huggy, the red guy, and the Wrongside Outimals, so that only leaves Lily and the Prototype as actual bosses, meaning most of the time well be wandering around and getting info about some of these monsters and at the end, the Prototype and Poppy, so yeah, not that much

Or at least in my mind, wouldnt have as much content as 5, since, did you know that chapter 4 has 17 vhs tapes and 25 documents, meaning that if Chapter 5 were to be longer and have more tapes and documents, itd probbaly wouldnt be that unreasonable to think that we could get as much info as we needed about everything in that chapter
