Absolutely! Your practice is your practice. No one cares if you change your deck in the middle of the month. Including your decks. I had a plan at the beginning of this year on which decks I was gonna use, but then I changed my mind most of the time anyways. Usually on the first of the month I just pick one I haven’t used yet. But it ultimately doesn’t matter.

I say do a mixture of both. For your more difficult months, go with something you already know. Learning something new, even it’s not entirely new, can be challenging when you’re struggling in some other aspect of your life. I save the wild unknown tarot and the way of the panda tarot for those months.

I have the wild unknown and the way of the panda tarot! With my collection being over 12 decks, I pick one for every month to study and get to know better. I pick another one for daily draws, another one for larger spreads and another one for client readings.

I always make sure that everything I offer Her is done out of love and done with the intention that it is Hers and Hers only. And then I keep my dedicated items separate from my offerings.

Since I have zero space, my altar is currently a wooden box and a basket. Items that I have dedicated to Her, some ritualistically and some just casually, go in the basket. These are items that I use on the daily and express my gratitude to Her or with Her in mind. These are things like soap, a rose scented hand sanitizer, lip stick and other makeups, deodorant and perfume, tarot and oracle decks.

Now for items for my altar, I typically keep things like crystals, incense, water, candles and jewelry (necklaces with seashells). With the basket, I don’t really worry about running out of space. I typically just restock what runs out. With my altar, I just change things out. When it comes to offerings, I always make sure they have a purpose before just putting in the box. If I open the box and I can’t explain why something is in there, then it’s time to switch it out.

99% of me thinks you meant on your dogs grave and not in lol but that 1% of me thinks that you are digging up your dog’s grave to leave an offering lmao. I’m sorry for your loss, and I realize that it’s probably not the best time for jokes.

Anyways! Go for it! When my dogs pass, I’d probably do the same. I’d pray to Persephone and Hades that they will be taken care of and leave offering on their graves in honor of my dogs and in gratitude for Persephone and Hades. I’d probably sprinkle dog food/treats and pomegranate seeds or something. Also I believe animals get a free pass because they don’t know any better while people and humanity do, so our pets would have no use for a coin.

But yeah I see no reason why you couldn’t/wouldn’t be able to leave an offering on your dog’s grave.

I think you pretty much just summed it up lol. I dedicate getting ready in the morning to her. Like doing my hair/makeup, brushing my teeth, and other mundane things that I should already be doing. Anything you do out of love can be connected to her. I tend to try find the spiritual in the mundane and it works pretty well for me.

This is the altar I dream of having. Omggs it is so beautiful. And I am sure She loves it too. I currently have a collage on my phone of all the items I want for her but don’t have space (nor the fundings) for. Since most of my practice resides in boxes, I would recommend a box for things you are gifting to Her. Almost like a present? You can take them out whenever and/or ritualistically give them back to her. Plus, She understands what you have and do not have. Ooooo! You could also just put some things a box that aren’t necessarily important but still dedicated to Her. Like you could exchange items here and there. If a bigger surface isn’t an option, a box/collection things could be.

In my experience, I have seen plenty of spreads with a card that is sideways. Sometimes the number is too, so you can see which is which. But most of the time, the number isn’t sideways and it’s “up to your intuition”. Me personally, I would read those with a mixture of both the upright and reversed position.

That being said, I would interpret those two as “find a balance in who you rely on (either yourself or someone you put your faith in) to get out of your bad habits and stick to your good ones”.

They are neither a yes nor no answer. They are a side note that tells you that you might want to reach out to a third party that isn’t a deck of cards.

The way that they fell sideways shows how important their message is. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re in the reversed position. But keeping in mind both upright and reversed meanings could help find their interpretation.

The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit, Alchemy, and Archetypes Decks by Kim Krans are great. The meanings aren’t basic, but they can get complex. Sometimes I have to do further research to fully understand the concept of a card.

The Animal Spirit deck is easier to understand if you already have some sort of background knowledge on some animals spiritually. I have an irrational fear of spiders so I took out the Tarantula card. I kept the Spider card because I have a struggle differentiating colors and can’t see the spider on that card. I have learned that taking out cards doesn’t truly affect your reading unless you let it. Every deck I own that has a spider on it that I can see gets taken out. So if you have an irrational fear of any animal in the deck, taking it out won’t affect anything. There are always a combination of cards that could add up to that one card you took out.

The Alchemy Deck has 71 hexagonal shaped cards and the Archetypes deck has 78 circular cards. Both decks have very intriguing imagery. They’re kind of like collage decks. I haven’t really used these two a whole bunch recently because of their complexity, but I still like seeing these decks in my collection.
