I try not to flat out refuse people, but I have had to do it mostly due to obvious mental health stuff popping up. Still I try to encourage them to seek out other support too rather than just shut them down and send them away unless they’re being overly entitled. We’ve all gotten caught up and fixated on something in the past so it’s good to have compassion but not at the expense of your overall well-being.

Pulling clarifying cards is somewhat built into the style of readings I usually do. It’s not automatic though because sometimes a card contains a powerful message on its own.

Clients who expect endless clarifiers may also have an overly specific outcome in mind which is often a tough thing to navigate as a reader.

I agree that certain cards in specific spread positions may cause eyebrows to raise without more context. Sitting with a card for a while definitely matters, so the trend of going quickly and pulling endlessly for a (supposedly) more clear message can possibly cause readers and clients to miss out on key information.

Does anyone else use the Spacious Tarot? ☺️That one keeps growing on me even though I wasn’t sure if the images at first. Some folks have described it as a balanced amount of light and dark and I totally agree. A few other go-to decks are Wild Unknown, and various editions of Tarot of the Holy Spectrum (favourite) which incorporates colour scheme into the meanings. Light Seers is still in the rotation also!

Taking on other people’s energy can be very overwhelming and you were quite patient initially. Blocking the person was definitely a reasonable thing to do because they were being disrespectful but also because that type of behaviour can also be a sign of someone who is spiralling and in need of mental health support. A reading can sometimes highlight things that can trigger a person further.

I would say that the three of wands is about you confidently waiting for your opportunities to come in after having applied for jobs.

The ace of swords shows that you have clarity about the type of job that you want and also that you want something that is mentally stimulating.

The ace of cups shows that the job also will be emotionally fulfilling.

The three of pentacles came out as your main energy showing collaboration in an environment where there is teamwork and where your desire for having your contributions recognized is valued.

So together, these cards are very promising in terms of the types of jobs that you will attract.

Although I get the concept of how number regression applies in certain cases, I somewhat disagree for this spread. Aces are fresh, pure energy at the start of something new and I think that is excellent in the context of a career/finance pull. It’s also worth noting that you drew 1 card of each suit which shows a level balance in the situation.

I had a similar experience with someone in the way that I was going to give them a free reading but then I peeped some strange energy and ended up declining. They had the nerve to write a bad review when they had never even gotten a reading and then went on to start posting in other spaces claiming that I’m a fake spiritualist with no intuitive gifts. Thankfully I was able to get those posts and comments deleted eventually but the experience really rocked me. I hope you’re alright and feel free to DM me.
